Snowflake is building a new and dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) function and is seeking a highly experienced and creative Senior L&D Program Manager to lead the design, piloting, and iteration of innovative learning initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to help build a global learning function from the ground up: creating and implementing cutting-edge programs that support employee development, fostering a culture of engagement, and driving employee impact. The Senior L&D Program Manager will work closely with business leaders and HR Business Partners to identify broad learning objectives and will have the opportunity to experiment with new approaches.

Important: This role is based in our Menlo Park office, with a 2-3 day in office requirement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand overarching learning goals and translate them into creative and engaging program concepts.

  • Partner with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and subject matter experts to co-create innovative learning solutions.

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of new learning programs, emphasizing rapid iteration and piloting to determine effectiveness.

  • Manage a portfolio of diverse learning initiatives, prioritizing flexibility and adaptability in program design.

  • Develop, lead, and manage a variety of learning programs, such as onboarding, skills development, and leadership development, with an emphasis on novel and engaging approaches.

  • Utilize strong project management skills to drive the execution of pilot programs and track progress against key milestones.

  • Establish methods for gathering feedback and data to iterate on program design and delivery for continuous improvement.

  • Explore and champion the use of new learning technologies and methodologies, including generative AI, to enhance program efficiency, quality, and engagement.

  • Contribute to building a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in developing and implementing learning programs, with a focus on building and iterating on new programs, preferably within a technology company or high-growth environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement learning programs in a new or evolving function including experience building manager onboarding or leadership development programs.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and various learning methodologies, with a passion for experimentation.

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across levels.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience as a manager or leading teams.

  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technologies
