MECCA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer & Commercial Analyst to join our Beauty Loop team, providing customer and commercial expertise with a strong focus on forecasting, financial modelling, strategic planning, analysis and business partnering. You will play a key role in refining and improving the Beauty Loop program, identifying opportunities for sales growth or efficiencies, and supporting the delivery of new program features and benefits.

The Role You Could Play

The Senior Loyalty Commercial Analyst is a customer focused and analytically-minded person who works closely and as a true partner to senior loyalty colleagues, in particular the Head of Loyalty & DCE and Proposition Manager to provide customer and commercial expertise with a focus on financial modelling, strategic planning, analysis and business partnering – for both refining and improving the BAU programme, identifying new opportunities for sales growth or efficiencies and for delivering any new features and benefits.

You will leverage data from internal and external sources to inform programme vision, proposition design, creating commercial and business cases within the MECCA format for senior presentations and approval. More broadly, you will also work with the loyalty team and own quantitative analysis of our loyalty offering and its impact to the business and our customer base.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver timely reporting and analysis on Beauty Loop and digital engagement initiatives to drive retention and LTV.
  • Surface trends and insights on customer behaviour and program health to support short- and long-term planning.
  • Build sales forecasts for the program and collaborate with Finance on broader business outlooks.
  • Complete campaign PIRs and develop case-study insights for internal and brand partners.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leaders to enhance loyalty performance and customer experience.
  • Model proposition changes and run scenario analyses to support commercial planning and optimisation.
  • Innovate financial modelling approaches and evaluate new technologies or data sources for improved measurement.
  • Identify opportunities for dashboard automation and support reporting tool development with the RA and Data teams.
  • Act as the loyalty data SME—standardising metrics, producing documentation, training users, and guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure data privacy compliance and partner with external providers to benchmark performance.

What You Will Bring

As the Senior Loyalty Commercial Analyst, you must be able to work with a broad spectrum of people, presenting key analysis and insights talking confidently and accurately about data and analytics pieces.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial data analysis and reporting, ideally within retail or customer-focused industries
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting – ability to develop, implement, and interpret customer and financial models, dashboards, and key metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking – proactively identify opportunities for business growth and efficiency within the loyalty program, using data to inform recommendations.
  • Curious, methodical, and detail-oriented – able to question assumptions, validate data
  • integrity, and apply critical thinking to insights and forecasting.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively – effectively manage workload, support cross-functional teams, and mentor junior analysts with minimal supervision.
  • Strong business and retail understanding – able to connect data-driven insights to commercial outcomes and customer behaviour trends.
  • Passionate about innovation and technology – keen to explore and implement new data sources, modelling techniques, and analytical tools to enhance program performance.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management – confident in presenting data-driven insights and influencing senior leadership.
  • Commitment to data security and privacy – ensures compliance with regulations and best practices in handling confidential data.

This role will suit someone with a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail. As well as the ability to multitask effectively, manage timelines and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.
