Mission - Applications Group Partner Marketing

The candidate will join the Applications Group Partner Marketing team and be a part of a highly creative, energetic team that leads the marketing strategy for Alliances, ISVs and SIs in the Applications Group.

We will leverage analysis of deep partner knowledge, third-party events and campaign data to develop actionable marketing strategies to build pipeline and close business.  We collaborate with product, product marketing, corporate marketing, the social team, and the global events team to create unique and inspired event experiences that tell our story in a way that resonates with customers.  

Why this Role Matters

The Partner Marketing Manager will own and execute the campaign strategy for all of Alliances, SIs and ISVs.  The ideal candidate has hands-on experience owning end-to-end marketing plans and campaigns and understands the CCaaS market, its segments and indirect routes to market.   The candidate should be passionate about business communications and adept at producing engaging email and social campaigns.  The candidate should also have experience in the Salesforce, Channel, ServiceNow ecosystem.  

This position plays an instrumental role in defining the long-term direction in the indirect routes to market space.  The ideal candidate will work alongside the rest of the product, alliances, sales and corporate marketing teams to create compelling value propositions, messaging and content in all areas of focus. 

This role reports to the Global Partner Marketing Director.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Create campaigns around Channel and Salesforce events to gather audiences, build pipeline and close business.
  • Identify market opportunities through research that will develop our mission and extend our reach.
  • Build case studies on our identified best customers and share internally and with our partners.
  • Budget management for events. 
  • Create engaging presentations and/or video content for use by the sales teams and use at tradeshows.  
  • Develop relationships with our ISV partners and top SI partners.  
  • Develop executable joint marketing plans with our ISV and top SI partners.  
  • Be the lead on campaign execution for all in-country events.  
  • Work closely with our global events team to execute 300+ events with the alliances marketing team.  
  • Execute a cohesive partner marketing plan that engages our partners, deepens the relationship and keeps Vonage top-of-mind. 
  • Collaborate with the product team, product marketing to stay abreast of all new product releases. 
  • The ability to create messaging for tradeshows centered around products and new releases.  
  • The ability to support the development of content around new product releases for tradeshows, theater presentations and blog posts.  
  • Create campaigns to keep our partners informed about new developments, product releases.  
  • Create champions within our partners through regional strategy planning and enablement days.  
  • Stay informed on our competitor’s product releases and find ways to highlight Vonage advantages. 
  • Create social campaigns that engage our audience and direct traffic to our events.  
  • Create an ongoing follow-on program for after each large event i.e. World Tours and other tradeshows

Requirements and Employee Characteristics for Success

  • 5 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, partner marketing, alliances marketing, global events, corporate marketing or similar job function.
  • Relevant degree such as a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Journalism.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Good analysis skills and the ability to draw conclusions from data.  
  • Proven organizational skills and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.  
  • Professional and mature approach with the ability to comfortably interact with all levels.  
  • Fluent in English - spoken and written.
  • Monday.com experience a plus.
  • Contact Center and Salesforce ecosystem experience a plus.
