WHAT WE’LL NEED

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate & International Tax to serve as a strategic leader and key business partner across the organization. This role will oversee all aspects of tax compliance, provision, planning, and strategy while leading and developing a high-performing tax team.

This individual will operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting while driving process improvements, scalability, and alignment with the company’s growth objectives. You will partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and external advisors to support both domestic and international operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the tax team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration  
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on tax-related matters, risks, and opportunities  
  • Drive tax planning initiatives to optimize the company’s global tax position  
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements, automation, and scalable solutions  
  • Oversee preparation and review of federal, state, and international income tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness  
  • Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax requirements, including sales/use and property tax filings  
  • Lead the quarterly and annual income tax provision process (ASC 740), including analysis, documentation, and reporting  
  • Oversee tax accounting processes and ensure alignment with financial reporting  
  • Maintain and enhance tax-related internal controls and documentation, ensuring compliance with SOX and company policies  
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors  
  • Interface with federal, state, and international tax authorities to resolve issues and inquiries  
  • Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and Operations to support business initiatives and transactions  

  • Provide tax guidance on new business initiatives, international expansion, and structural changes  

  • Partner with stakeholders to align tax strategies with broader financial and operational goals  

  • Identify opportunities to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency through automation and technology  

  • Enhance data integrity, reporting capabilities, and documentation standards  

  • Drive continuous improvement mindset across tax operations  

  • Manage any ongoing or pending tax audits, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external authorities as needed 

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Deep knowledge of U.S. corporate tax and ASC 740  

  • Strong understanding of domestic and international tax compliance and planning  

  • Experience with public company tax reporting and regulatory requirements  

  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders  

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect tax implications to business outcomes  

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment  

  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills  

  • Strong communication and executive presence  

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills  

 

 

Education and Work Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s in taxation preferred)  

  • CPA required 

  • 7–10+ years of progressive tax experience, including corporate and/or public accounting  

  • Prior people management experience required

  • Experience in a public company environment strongly preferred
