About Fluidstack

We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it.

We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.

We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply!

How We Operate
  • Be a barrel. Full autonomy. Own things end to end, take on scope without being asked, no permission required to operate outside your core role.

  • Insane urgency. We drive everything forward as fast as possible.

  • Reason from first principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins.

  • Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.

  • Build something that actually matters. If you're going to spend your time, spend it on something that matters to the world.

The HSE Team

Examples of key problems the team is working on

  • Build the sustainability program for one of the largest compute buildouts in history, from zero. The first GHG inventory, the first disclosures, the first water strategy, all written here while the company adds gigawatts.

  • Make our carbon and water numbers hold up to the most demanding audience in tech. Hyperscaler customers, auditors, and regulators will test every figure, so the accounting gets built right the first time.

  • Keep environmental compliance ahead of the fastest build in the industry. Behind-the-meter generation spans multiple states, each with its own air permit conditions, runtime limits, and reporting deadlines, and the company adds sites faster than any manual compliance model can keep up with.

Role Scope

  • Stand up Fluidstack’s first corporate GHG inventory across Scope 1, 2, and 3, covering behind-the-meter generation, construction, and a multi-gigawatt fleet.

  • Run every sustainability disclosure and data request end to end: CDP, EU Energy Efficiency Directive data center reporting, CSRD readiness, and the sustainability sections of hyperscaler RFPs and due-diligence questionnaires.

  • Build the water strategy for a fleet spanning water-scarce regions, setting WUE targets and site-level stewardship plans that stand up in permitting and community engagement.

  • Turn meters, fuel logs, and invoices into an auditable environmental system of record so carbon and water numbers come from data, not from spreadsheets assembled the week a report is due.

  • Extend the program across global manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics: supplier emissions data, the freight footprint, and environmental standards for the manufacturing facility.

  • Quarterback sustainability commitments across Design, Construction, Energy, Supply Chain, and Commercial so a target signed in a customer contract lands in a spec, a power deal, or a site plan.

What We’re Looking For

The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don’t fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.

  • You’ve personally built a Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG inventory from scratch and defended it line by line with an auditor, a customer, or a regulator.

  • You’ve run disclosure cycles (CDP, GRI, CSRD, or customer-specific questionnaires) end to end, on deadline, without a large team behind you.

  • You’ve turned messy operational data, meter reads, fuel logs, utility invoices, into numbers a CFO or a hyperscaler would sign.

  • You’ve worked in heavy infrastructure (data centers, energy, industrial) and hold your own with engineers on PUE, WUE, and market-based versus location-based accounting.

  • You’ve pulled emissions and environmental data out of a global supplier and logistics base, and gotten numbers vendors don’t volunteer.

  • You quarterback across teams that don’t report to you, and the commitments you own show up in contracts, specs, and permits, not just in decks.

  • Bonus: Renewable energy procurement (PPAs, RECs, 24/7 carbon-free energy matching). Lifecycle and embodied carbon assessment (LCA, EC3). Data center sustainability frameworks (EU EED, ENERGY STAR for Data Centers, The Green Grid). Sustainability credentials (CEM, LEED AP, ISSP).

We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
