The role involves managing omnichannel marketing campaigns, optimizing digital strategies, and leveraging AI tools for reporting and performance analysis to drive engagement and ROI.
About Helix
At Helix, our mission is to help everyone improve their lives through DNA. We're transforming healthcare by making genomics a standard of care and partnering with health systems and life science companies to accelerate the integration of genomic data into clinical practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of precision medicine and make a significant impact on healthcare delivery.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a hands-on, AI-fluent, data-driven professional to set up, manage, and optimize Helix campaigns and digital positioning. You’ll focus on operational excellence: executing campaigns across digital platforms and touchpoints; ensuring seamless CRM integration; measuring performance; and advising the marketing & sales teams on refining messaging for Helix’s target audiences and ideal customer profiles (ICPs) based on insights & analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Omnichannel Campaign Execution
- Campaign Management: Set up, launch, and manage campaigns across owned, earned, paid, and social channels—primarily Sanity, LinkedIn, and X.
- Platform Operations: Operate directly in CRM (HubSpot) and digital platforms to ensure flawless campaign delivery, partnering with product marketing & sales/business development to merge in-platform insights with strategic positioning and on-the-ground feedback.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor media, policy, and competitive trends that shape opportunities with key stakeholders and ICPs.
- Infrastructure: Drive innovation in marketing approaches, influencing the marketing tech stack with emerging technologies and platforms that drive customer awareness and adoption.
Performance and Optimization
- KPI Tracking: Track, measure, and report on campaign and channel performance, defining marketing ROI to optimize resource allocation.
- Strategic Reporting: Build dashboards that translate data into clear insights for leadership and internal teams.
- Testing & Refinement: Run A/B tests and recommend optimizations to creative/content leads based on stakeholder and ICP engagement to maximize ROI.
- Annual Planning: Advise on setting yearly KPIs, review performance from previous years, and share key learnings to inform long-term strategic planning.
AI-Enabled Operations
- Workflow Automation: Use AI tools for reporting, insight generation, and workflow automation, supporting the entire marketing team’s efforts with custom-built, automated solutions and tooling within the company TechStack.
- Prompt Engineering: Experiment with prompt engineering and other methods to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging AI tools that strengthen campaign execution and analytics.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with the extended marketing team (content, product, partner) as well as Product and Sales to drive maximum engagement with our customers.
- Vendor Management: Manage external vendors or freelancers as well as third-party platforms, as needed, to support execution.
What Good Looks Like (6-12 Months)
- ICP-driven dashboards in place for all priority campaigns.
- Two to three significant campaigns launched and optimized with measurable ROI and audience insights.
- Digital campaigns and workflows running consistently and effectively, with seamless CRM integration driving engagement and conversion.
- A clear link between performance metrics, Helix's core value proposition, and ICP engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4–6 years of experience in digital or integrated marketing with a focus on campaign execution and optimization.
- CRM Expertise: Proven track record setting up and running CRM- and digital-led campaigns, with HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret campaign data, build dashboards, and translate metrics into ICP-specific recommendations.
- Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with marketing & sales operations tools (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Hubspot, SEMrush or other SEO platforms, Hotjar, Zapier, etc.) and ability to work closely with software engineers.
- AI Proficiency: Practical experience using AI tools to streamline reporting, analytics, campaign execution or marketing/sales operations.
- Continuous Optimizer: A proactive, self-starting mindset with a relentless focus on 'what’s next'; someone who doesn't just manage existing workflows but actively seeks to disrupt and improve them through automation and AI-driven experimentation.
Note to applicants: We are looking for an 'AI-fluent' engine of growth. If you are an ambitious, self-taught professional who thrives on operational excellence and continuous improvement, don’t let a missing checkbox stop you.
