The Hyperforce team is seeking a Product Manager with a strong builder mindset for building an AI-first compute infrastructure platform. The role requires deep technical expertise in cloud native technologies like Kubernetes, passion for building AI-first compute platforms, exceptional data analysis skills for strategic planning and skills for delivering rich user experiences. The role will focus on compute infrastructure capabilities for AI and Data workloads.

Technical Skills:

The role requires deep level engineering knowledge and related product management experience in multiple of the following areas:

  • Kubernetes Compute- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native technologies, including concepts like CRDs, operators, and service mesh.

  • Public Cloud Infrastructure Platform- Experience with public cloud Infrastructure/Platforms-as-code (IaaS/PaaS), AI and Data workload characteristics, system architecture and API/SDKs.

  • Data Analysis-  Ability to use data analytics tools (eg. SQL) queries for data analysis and with AI tools (eg. Cursor, ClaudeAI).

  • User Experience- Knowledge of UI/UX, KPIs for measuring user journey and experience, and platform automation for self-service.

Responsibilities:

  • As a senior product leader, develop vision, strategy and roadmap for the compute infrastructure platform with emphasis for AI and data workloads.

  • Innovate at infrastructure and platform level by deeply understanding user needs and product fit while leveraging the knowledge of Infrastructure/platform-as-a-service and open-source technologies. 

  • Developer product strategy and translate them into detailed requirements, and prototypes  

  • Partner with Salesforce product clouds so that all services are available on Hyperforce. Including gap analysis on requirements

  • Engage with customers and partners to deliver roadmap updates, get product feedback, and identify additional challenges and opportunities.

  • Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, and through community sites and social media.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • 8+ years minimum of Product Management or similar experience.

  • Specialization in the Kubernetes, cloud computing- infrastructure/platform as code.

  • A technical degree required, preferably in Software Engineering.

  • Experience delivering user facing and cloud based products/services.

  • Demonstrated experience in building product prototypes, writing strategy and translating customer need into product capabilities.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

The typical base salary range for this position is $184,000 - $306,600 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $200,800- $334,600 annually.
The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
