Candescent is seeking a Senior Manager, FinTech Partnerships, a senior leader and domain expert in a key subset of the fintech industry (e.g., Payments, Identity & Fraud, Wealth, and more) to serve as a strategic voice and connector across the fintech ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who has worked closely with FinTech's in a partnership capacity and understands how to translate emerging trends into actionable opportunities.

You’ll engage directly with FinTech's, represent Candescent in public forums and customer conversations, and help shape our perspective on the evolving fintech landscape. This is a rare opportunity to deepen your expertise, expand your network, and play a visible role in shaping how Candescent shows up in the market.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Serve as a strategic advisor and domain expert in one or more fintech verticals (e.g., Payments, Identity & Fraud, Wealth).

  • Engage with FinTech's to identify, evaluate, and cultivate high-impact partnerships that align with Candescent’s strategic goals.

  • Represent Candescent at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, articulating our point of view on key fintech themes.

  • Track and communicate emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and technology developments across the fintech landscape.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of relevant companies and partners that create win-win opportunities and drive revenue.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute partnership strategies that meet customer needs and support business growth.

  • Contribute to thought leadership efforts through content, speaking engagements, and strategic conversations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in the fintech industry, with deep expertise in one or more domains.

  • Proven experience working with FinTech's in a partnership, business development, or strategic engagement role.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort speaking publicly and engaging senior stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate market insights into strategic action.

Preferred Distinctions

  • Experience in high-growth B2B fintech environments.

  • Recognized industry certifications or awards.

  • Experience working with global FinTech's or multicultural teams.

  • Published articles, whitepapers, or regular participation in industry panels.

  • Multilingual capabilities a plus.
