This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for a Director, FP&A. Reporting to the GAVP of FP&A, the Senior Manager and team will support world-class financial forecasting, planning, reporting and analysis. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team works closely with the CFO and strives to be agents of change and strategic thought partners to the business.  Specifically, we are looking for a self-starter to join our FP&A team to oversee all Product & Technology (P&T), with a focus on Subscription COGS, partnering closely with P&T and IT teams to manage operating and capital expenditures, deliver monthly budget vs. actual (BvA) analyses, and oversee headcount and purchase order (PO) planning. Further, you will lead the team to consolidate financials for Subscription COGS and IT and leverage AI to power analytics and reporting for executives. Job Duties:

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for Subscription COGS and IT functions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate objectives.

  • Partner with operational leaders to provide insights into cost drivers, trends, and opportunities for efficiency and savings.

  • Develop business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to support investment decisions and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Monitor and report on monthly performance against budget, delivering variance analysis and actionable recommendations.

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a small team of offshore resources to ensure high-quality deliverables and career growth.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior finance leadership and business stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.

  • Continuously design, develop, and automate the unit COGS model 

  • Extract required data from internal systems, lead analytics projects, and monitor key trends in relevant metrics

  • Work independently and in conjunction with our FP&A, Accounting, Revenue, Subscription COGS, and IT teams

  • Fulfill ad-hoc analytical requests as needed

  • Adhere to all security rules and guidelines

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent practical experience

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and close attention to detail

  • Advanced level user in MS Excel and Google Sheets

  • 10+ years of financial analyst experience or similar

  • Experience with financial systems such as Hyperion, Cognos, Business Objects, SAP, Anaplan, or Netsuite preferred

  • Lead automation projects, leveraging technologies such as Anaplan, ChatGPT, Tableau, etc.

  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally)

  • Strong presentation, organization, and communication skills

  • Motivated self-starter that adapts to changes in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace

  • Operates with high integrity and transparency

  • Passion for teamwork and collaboration

  • Humility balanced with drive to succeed

  • Ability to deliver high quality results while working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:        

  • Previous experience supporting COGS with a focus on identifying cost drivers and leading initiatives that improve operational efficiency

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment

  • Understanding of SaaS business model and cloud (public and private cloud) operations

  • Project management skills

If you are hired in Belmont, California, the compensation range for this position is between $143,500 and $205,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
