Job Description:

As a Senior Manager, you will build and drive the strategy, positioning, and go-to-market (GTM) execution for MPLAB ML - embedded software development kit (SDK) enabling our clients to implement AI / ML on Microchip silicon platforms. You will lead product definition, roadmap, business plan, pricing and go to market functions, influence engineering as well as sales with the ultimate goal to enable clients to successfully use Microchip solutions for Edge AI applications. 

  • Key Responsibilities

    • SDK Strategy & Roadmap: Define the strategy, roadmap, and business plan for entire SDK for MPLAB - ML Dev Kit.

    • Product management: Lead new feature introduction including functions and UX, manage product life cycle from concept to obsolescence, pricing and distribution strategy as well as prioritizing and communicating updates to products and their derivatives.

    • Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Lead execution for MPLAB ML, creating compelling value propositions that demonstrate tangible benefits to clients and train sales team on delivering such value propositions. You will also drive outbound marketing efforts including demo, website, trade shows and event presence.

    • Customer & Ecosystem Engagement: Engage with key customers to drive success as well as and partner with ecosystem vendors (AI frameworks, toolchain partners) to ensure a broad reach of Microchip solutions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Qualifications/Requirements
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required; MBA preferred.
    • Experience: 15+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or product management for embedded software and or semiconductor industry.
    • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of embedded software SDK, microcontroller architecture, embedded systems and applications. 
    • AI Knowledge: Direct experience with TinyML, edge AI frameworks (TensorFlow Lite for Microcontrollers), and neural network accelerators is highly desirable.
    • Communication Skills: Strong ability to translate complex technical features into marketing narratives for business and technical audiences. Experience in presenting business topics to executive management is highly desirable.

Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $91,000 - $247,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
