Serve as the HR Business Partner for global R&D, lead US employee relations, advise on org design and workforce planning, support HR programs (performance, compensation, promotions), partner with TA on hiring and offers, own job architecture and HRIS readiness, and drive discrete HR projects and manager development.

Founded in 2004, NetBrain is the leader in no-code network automation. Its ground-breaking Next-Gen platform provides IT operations teams with the ability to scale their hybrid multi-cloud connected networks by automating the processes associated with Diagnostic Troubleshooting, Outage Prevention and Protected Change Management.  Today, over 2,500 of the world’s largest enterprises and managed services providers leverage NetBrain’s platform.

What We Need

NetBrain is the leader in network automation, helping the world's largest enterprises and service providers automate their networks at scale. We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our People Experience team as Sr. Manager, People Experience — a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves building things, and wants to be a true strategic partner to the business, not just an HR administrator.

You'll serve as the primary HRBP for our global R&D organization, own cross-functional employee relations across the US, and partner closely with our TA Lead on offer strategy, hiring manager enablement, and workforce planning. If you've been looking for the chance to build something meaningful in a fast-moving, PE-backed tech company, this is it.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the dedicated HRBP for our global R&D organization, building trusted relationships with engineering and product leaders and developing deep fluency in team structure, culture, and dynamics
  • Advise managers on org design, role clarity, team dynamics, and leadership effectiveness — getting ahead of people issues before they become problems
  • Support headcount planning and workforce strategy for R&D in partnership with the Director and TA
  • Lead cross-functional employee relations for all US-based employees regardless of function: PIPs, investigations, conflict resolution, and involuntary separations at the IC and Manager level
  • Ensure every ER action is documented consistently and in compliance with applicable employment law across multiple states
  • Be the person leaders trust to handle hard conversations with care, structure, and sound judgment
  • Serve as the local execution partner for company-wide HR programs: performance review cycles, engagement surveys, compensation planning, and manager effectiveness
  • Support managers through calibrations, promotions, and compensation decisions for their teams
  • Partner with our TA Lead on the BP/TA operating model, including offer approvals, internal equity review, and hiring manager enablement
  • Lead the people-side readiness work for HRIS implementation, including job architecture, data quality, and leveling consistency
  • Own the job architecture and leveling framework, ensuring role design and titling decisions are made consistently across the org
  • Drive discrete HR projects that move the function forward, and contribute to leadership development and manager training initiatives as bandwidth and business need allow

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a true HRBP role — not generalist-only
  • Proven experience supporting a technical, engineering, or R&D organization
  • Deep employee relations experience: you've run complex investigations, handled difficult separations, and know how to document properly
  • Strong working knowledge of multi-state US employment law
  • Experience partnering closely with a TA function on offer strategy, equity review, and hiring manager capability
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification
  • Preferred: experience in a PE-backed or high-growth tech company; familiarity with Lattice, Greenhouse, ADP, or similar HRIS/ATS platforms; background in leadership development or manager training design; experience supporting a globally distributed workforce; or SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or SPHRi
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.

What We Offer

Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company.

For this role, the estimated base is $150,000 - $155,000 + Bonus. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.

The range listed above is a guideline and may be modified. People Experience offers a comprehensive benefits package in addition to cash compensation that includes but is not limited to 401k and medical/dental coverage. Speak with your Recruiter for more details on our Total Rewards philosophy.
