The Role:

The Senior Manager of Sales Operations is a highly collaborative leader who drives alignment across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and external partners to turn commercial strategy into flawless execution. This role ensures plans are delivered on time and in full, while streamlining processes to reduce friction and increase efficiency. Through sharp analytics and forward-looking insights, the Senior Manager anticipates challenges, uncovers opportunities, and helps guide data-driven strategic decisions across the organization.

What You’ll DoSales Execution & Cross-Functional Operations
  • Own end-to-end sales execution from account plans to order fulfillment for retail and Marketplaces

  • Act as the primary operational partner to Sales leadership and national account teams

  • Coordinate across Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and 3PLs to ensure launches, promotions, and replenishment flow without disruption; 

  • Own the relationships with all 3PLs supporting retail and Marketplaces, including the analysis for possible new business placements with new 3PLs. 

  • Proactively identify execution risks (inventory, timing, system gaps) and drive resolution

Retailer, Broker & Internal Relationships
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for brokers, field teams, and internal stakeholders

  • Ensure alignment on pricing, promotions, assortments, and timelines across all parties

  • Lead issue resolution for retailer chargebacks, shortages, deductions, and execution gaps

  • Build strong working relationships that reduce friction and speed up problem-solving
     

Analytics & Performance Insight (Enablement-Focused)
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for Sales and leadership

  • Own reporting on sales performance, execution health, and operational KPIs

  • Lead the monthly business review for retail and Marketplace sales

  • Identify trends and risks (e.g., forecast gaps, promo execution issues) early

  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure shared visibility and accountability
     

Forecasting & Demand Alignment
  • Serve as the Sales Operations lead in the S&OP process; Facilitate demand planning conversations with Sales and Supply Chain

  • Ensure forecasts reflect real-world execution constraints and account realities

  • Monitor forecast accuracy and help teams course-correct quickly

What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or Revenue Operations

  • Direct experience supporting retail sales teams in CPG or consumer brands

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • Practical analytics experience (forecasting, performance tracking, issue diagnosis)

  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, imperfect environments
     

Preferred
  • Experience working with brokers and national retailers (e.g., Target, grocery, mass)

  • Experience with Netsuite and SPS or other similar ERP and EDI systems.
