We are looking for a Senior Manager of Social Media and Content Marketing to lead the advancement of MinIO’s narrative through owned content channels to accelerate mindshare for MinIO in the competitive AI landscape. This role will be responsible for developing and executing social media and content marketing strategies across the entirety of MinIO’s digital footprint.

What You Will Do:

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Develop and execute comprehensive a content marketing strategy aligned with business goals, an evolving corporate brand, and technical audience needs to help MinIO grow its online fan base
  • Create and produce blogs, newsletters, videos, articles, social posts, content calendars, and other creative assets to fuel the content funnel 
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering and product teams to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging content
  • Develop and manage editorial calendar and ensure consistent, high-quality content delivery across all channels

Social Media Leadership

  • Develop platform-specific paid and organic content strategies that drive engagement and MinIO community growth across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and other channels
  • Own and optimize MinIO Employee Advocacy and Executive Advocacy
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to build an integrated plan that improves brand mentions of MinIO in AI search
  • Monitor social media trends, platform changes, and MinIO mentions to and proactively recommend changes to maintain a best in class social media program

Analytics, Performance Measurement, and Reporting

  • Establish KPIs and metrics for growing visibility of MinIO via content, social media and AI search 
  • Provide clear reporting and insights on performance and ROI of content and social initiatives 
  • Continuously optimize strategies based on data-driven insights

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Demonstrate accountability and ownership for advancing MinIO’s content and social programming
  • Collaborate closely with communications, product marketing, brand, and sales teams on functional and program alignment 
  • Provide regular updates on progress and gain feedback in weekly marketing meetings and quarterly business reviews

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing and social media management, preferably in a high growth B2B technology, AI, or infrastructure software environment
  • Proven track record of building and scaling content programs that drive measurable business results in marketing to a technical audience 
  • Understanding of AI, cloud computing, data infrastructure, and/or storage technologies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to create compelling technical content
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, content management systems, and familiarity with marketing automation tools
  • Experience with SEO, GEO best practices and content optimization for AI search and social
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Possesses sound judgement, desire to build, and can-do ‘team player’ attitude
