We are AI Native

We are building an AI native company where AI is an integral part of how we build and operate. AI tool usage during interviews varies by role. You may be asked to demonstrate proficiency with AI tools, discuss how you leverage AI, or complete interview exercises without AI assistance. Your Recruiter will provide clear guidance as you move through the interview process.

Undisclosed use of AI not previously discussed with or approved by your Recruiter may impact your candidacy.

About The Team

Life360 is the family safety and connection platform trusted by more than 100 million monthly active users around the world. Our growth over the next several years will come from expanding internationally and moving into new business adjacencies, with AI acceleration underpinning both. This role helps shape those decisions.

You'll join a deliberately lean Corporate Development & Strategy team, working directly with the VP of Corporate Development and alongside senior leaders across the company. You'll own important analysis behind where we grow next, and you'll introduce the AI agents that let a small team cover far more ground. For the right person, this is a role with room to grow and a scope that expands as you earn the trust of our senior leaders.

About the Job

The decisions behind Life360’s next stage of growth, which international markets to enter, which adjacencies to pursue, and which companies to buy or invest in, depend on analysis our executive team can rely on. We’re hiring a corporate development and strategy practitioner to lead that analysis and turn it into decisions and deals.

You’ll frame the question, build the models, and make the recommendation, then stay with the work as it moves into live acquisitions and investments. You’ll also build the AI agents that help a small team move faster, from tracking potential targets to running repeatable target analysis. Your work will go directly to the VP of Corporate Development and our executive team.

The US-based salary range for this position is $115,500 to $171,500. We take into consideration an individual's background, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay may also vary based on geographic location, with US work locations falling into one of three geographic tiers.

Total compensation is inclusive of equity compensation in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.

What You'll DoIn Your First Year
  • Two strategic analyses that earn executive support. You'll lead two strategic analysis processes from framing through recommendation. Your recommendations will hold up to challenges from our executive team and earn their support.
  • Two acquisition candidates worth championing. You'll find and recommend one international and one adjacent acquisition candidate. The quality of your analysis, and the way you work across teams, will turn colleagues into vocal supporters.
  • Our first agents. You'll be the catalyst for building agents on the team. Your first agents will identify and track potential targets in our agreed priority areas and run repeatable target analysis in a structured way, saving your colleagues hours of repetitive work.
  • Strong analytical work on live deals. You'll own key analytical workstreams on acquisitions and strategic investments, including market sizing, operating and valuation models, and diligence analysis, partnering with finance, legal, and product. We move light and fast, and your work will help keep it that way.
What We’re Looking For

These are must-haves, and we'll look for clear evidence of each.

  • You drive the work. You take an ambiguous problem and work it to a recommendation. You define the output, set the timeline, bring in the right people, and follow through on your own initiative.
  • You build and deploy AI agents. You're AI-native, and you have designed and deployed agents into real workflows using tools such as Claude, Claude Code, MCP connectors, or comparable frameworks. You direct AI to raise the speed and quality of your thinking, and you check its work with the same rigor you apply to your own.
  • You bring intellectual rigor. You build financial models and valuations from first principles, pressure-test your own assumptions, and can defend every number.
  • You work well with senior leaders. You communicate clearly in writing and in the room, welcome hard questions, and build the credibility that turns stakeholders into supporters.
  • You have the foundation. Roughly 3 to 5 years in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture, corporate development, or strategy at a high-growth technology company.
Nice to Have

Experience with B2C subscription or consumer technology businesses, hands-on M&A modeling, analysis and diligence, and expertise with BI tools.

How We'll Get to Know You

Our process is built around real work. You'll walk us through an agent or AI workflow you've built and the results it produced. You'll also join a working session where we share an open-ended strategic question and explore how you'd approach it.

Our Benefits
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans (100% paid for employees)
  • Paid parental leave
  • 401(k) plan with company matching program
  • Mental Wellness Program & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental well-being
  • Generous time off: flexible PTO, companywide holidays throughout the year plus summer and winter shutdowns
  • Learning & Development programs
  • Equipment, tools, and reimbursement support for a productive remote environment
  • Free Life360 Platinum Membership and Tile trackers

AI Usage: We use AI to help make our hiring process efficient. That said, every hiring decision is made by real Life360 hiring teams
