This position will be based out of Abbott Diabetes Care Division in Alameda, CA.

 The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Digital Solutions will define and lead a unified digital and data strategy for Abbott Diabetes Care’s global supply chain. This role oversees governance, policies, and technology implementation to strengthen reporting, analytics, and data architecture capabilities across the organization. The leader will own the digital solutions and data platform roadmap, ensuring scalability, compliance, and alignment with validated standards. Working closely with cross‑functional partners, this role identifies and deploys digital and data opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, improve early‑issue detection, and drive global standardization. The Senior Manager will deliver sustainable, value‑driven solutions that eliminate non‑essential work and enable long‑term strategic growth.

What You’ll Work On

  •  Digital Transformation Leadership: Drive implementation of global digital initiatives to streamline supply chain processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Data Strategy & Governance: Establish and maintain governance frameworks for data architecture, reporting, and analytics across global operations.
  • PMO Oversight: Manage Supply Chain PMO processes, tools, and governance to ensure consistent delivery of enterprise projects.
  • Solution Development: Design and deploy digital solutions, including Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, and advanced analytics tools, to support decision-making and performance visibility.
  • Application Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for issue resolution and minor enhancements for supply chain digital tools (SAP IBP, SAP Symphony, Project44, etc.).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Planning, Logistics, Warehousing, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of digital solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize existing reporting and analytics tools, driving global standardization and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with BTS and application support teams to deliver enhancements and maintain system performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years experience in: Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Sourcing
  • 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with numerous functions, build consensus across functional, business units, and geographic boundaries.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Master's or MBA preferred
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals) is a plus.

The base pay for this position is

$148,700.00 – $297,300.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
