Senior Manager, Technical Sourcing (Foundry)

Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Technical Sourcing Manager - Foundry & ASIC to lead sourcing strategy for semiconductor foundry and ASIC services supporting current and next-generation products.
You will partner with Silicon Engineering, Product, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to secure the technology, capacity, cost, and supply assurance required to support product development and high-volume manufacturing.
Responsibilities

• Own global sourcing strategy for semiconductor foundry and ASIC services, from early product development through high-volume manufacturing.
• Partner with Engineering to align process technology, foundry capabilities, and ASIC partners with product and technology roadmaps.
• Lead strategic relationships and negotiations with foundries and ASIC partners across pricing, NRE, masks, capacity, commercial terms, and long-term agreements.
• Develop strategies for advanced process nodes, including technology access, capacity reservations, multi-year supply commitments, and strategic investments.
• Build should-cost and total-cost models covering wafers, masks, NRE, yield, cycle time, and manufacturing economics.
• Secure capacity ahead of major product ramps and develop sourcing strategies to mitigate technology, capacity, geographic, and supply risks.
• Monitor foundry market dynamics, technology roadmaps, industry capacity, and competitive cost trends.
• Present sourcing strategies, commercial recommendations, supplier decisions, and key risks to senior leadership.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductors, foundry, ASIC, technical sourcing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, advanced process nodes, wafer economics, yield, capacity, and cycle time.
• Experience working with leading semiconductor foundries and/or ASIC partners.
• Demonstrated success leading complex commercial negotiations and strategic supplier relationships.
• Experience supporting semiconductor products from development through tapeout, qualification, ramp, and volume production.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to travel internationally.

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience

• Experience sourcing advanced-node foundry services for AI, HPC, networking, data center, or other complex semiconductor products.
• Experience negotiating wafer pricing, NRE, capacity agreements, strategic prepayments, and long-term supply agreements.
• Understanding of leading-edge process technologies and foundry ecosystems.
• Established relationships with leading global foundry and ASIC suppliers.

Additional Information

Salary Range:
$161,500-$218,500 per year
