Ciklum is looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Romania.

Project Description:
This project is with a global Financial Services Provider that focuses on providing responsible credit to underbanked customers in international markets. The current strategy centers on consolidating technology delivery to a single partner to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
You will join the Product Engine team. This bespoke, cloud-native system manages the entire credit lifecycle. Built on a modern tech stack and cloud infrastructure, it supports hundreds of thousands of active credit card customers and is being expanded to replace legacy systems for instalment loans across multiple markets.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum 5 years’ practical experience in system testing & acceptance
- Experience of agile delivery methodology, including SCRUM software development processes
- Perform manual testing of web applications and web services/API testing using tools like Postman, newman, and yaml
- Access and query databases using SSMS (SQL Server Mgmt Studio) and navigate servers using RDP
- Monitor and access logging records via AWS Hosted components such as Cloudwatch & Kibana
- Forge close links with architects, developers, analysts and wider team members to build a quality assurance community
Requirements:
- Competent proficiency in Postman (API), Appium (UI), and Sequel
- Competent proficiency in AWS and JIRA / Confluence
- Competent level of attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with technical peers and stakeholders
- Competent ability to prioritize workloads for self and team members and escalate key issues as required
- Competent proficiency in accessibility testing (O/S screen readers)
- Novice ability to learn wider systems knowledge to support integration and regression testing
Desirable:
Novice proficiency in X-ray for managing test cases
