At Colibri Group, culture is at the heart of everything we do! Our values Love, Joy, Boldness, Teamwork, and Curiosity guide how we work together, support our customers, and make a difference in the communities we serve.
SimpleNursing, under Colibri Group's ecosystem; Healthcare, helps nursing students succeed in school, prepare for the NCLEX, and confidently begin their careers. Through engaging content, innovative learning tools, and a deep understanding of the nursing-student journey, we meet learners where they are and help them reach the finish line.
About the Role
We're looking for a strategic, hands on Senior SEO and Lifecycle Growth Manager to help more nursing students discover our products, engage with our content, and confidently take the next step in their learning journey.
In this role, you will own two connected areas of growth: expanding organic discovery through SEO and content, and creating thoughtful lifecycle experiences that improve engagement, conversion, and retention. You will also help shape landing pages, website journeys, and conversion-rate experiments across the customer experience.
This is a senior individual contributor role created for someone who wants meaningful ownership while staying close to the work. You will have the opportunity to develop the strategy, personally bring it to life, analyze what happened, and decide what to improve next.
You may spend one day uncovering a new organic search opportunity, another building or refining a lifecycle journey, and another reviewing customer behavior to understand why students are leaving a page before converting. You will work directly within marketing and analytics platforms, create and improve campaigns and webpages, launch tests, and turn performance insights into clear action.
We are looking for someone who enjoys moving between big picture thinking and hands on execution. You are curious about why customers behave the way they do, comfortable digging into the data, and excited to turn an idea into something real and measurable.
You will partner closely with Product, Paid Media, Creative, Analytics, Engineering, and external specialists, while maintaining clear ownership of your channels and outcomes. Collaboration is important here, but so is your willingness to roll up your sleeves and personally move the work forward.
This role may feel like a great fit if you love building growth strategies, working directly within the platforms, experimenting thoughtfully, and seeing a clear connection between your work and the students we serve!!
Come Build What’s Next
- Own the strategy, roadmap, hands on execution, and performance of SimpleNursing’s earned and owned marketing channels, including SEO, content, lifecycle email, landing pages, website experiences, and conversion-rate optimization
- Identify organic growth opportunities through keyword research, content analysis, competitive insights, search performance, and customer behavior, then personally develop or optimize content and webpages to improve discovery and conversion
- Build, launch, and continuously improve lifecycle programs across onboarding, nurture, promotional, retention, and re-engagement journeys using student stage, behavior, engagement, and purchase signals
- Improve conversion across landing pages, trial and sign-up flows, and content-to-purchase pathways by identifying friction, developing hypotheses, implementing structured tests, and applying results to the next iteration
- Analyze funnel performance and customer behavior using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, and Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity to determine where students disengage and prioritize improvements based on business impact
- Translate broader growth priorities into clear campaigns, customer journeys, webpages, and experiments while partnering with Paid Media, Product, Creative, Analytics, Engineering, and external partners and communicating results, learnings, and next steps
- Six or more years of experience in B2C growth marketing, digital marketing, demand generation, or a similarly hands-on customer acquisition and engagement environment
- Recent, direct execution experience across several areas of the role, including SEO, organic content, lifecycle email, landing pages, website optimization, and conversion-rate optimization
- A track record of personally building, configuring, launching, and optimizing campaigns, webpages, experiments, and customer journeys not solely overseeing agencies, vendors, or direct reports
- The ability to think strategically while remaining actively involved in executing, measuring, analyzing, and improving the work
- Strong analytical judgment and experience using customer behavior, funnel data, search performance, and structured testing to identify opportunities and determine what should happen next
- Clear, concise communication and strong cross-functional influence, including the ability to explain what you tested, why you tested it, what happened, and what you recommend doing next. Experience in healthcare, education, EdTech, consumer subscriptions, SaaS, e-commerce, or another digitally focused B2C organization is a plus
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
- Ahrefs, Semrush, or a similar SEO platform
- Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or another behavior analytics tool
- Email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle-automation platforms
- Content-management systems and landing page building tools
- A/B testing, experimentation, reporting, dashboard, and AI productivity tools
- Own a meaningful part of the SimpleNursing growth engine and see the direct connection between your work and student acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention
- Work across the full customer journey, from the moment a nursing student discovers SimpleNursing through the experiences that help them become and remain an engaged customer
- Develop strategies and personally turn them into content, campaigns, webpages, lifecycle journeys, and experiments
- Remain close to the platforms, customers, performance data, and execution rather than being removed from the work
- Partner with talented colleagues across Product, Paid Media, Creative, Analytics, Engineering, and Operations while maintaining clear ownership of your channels
- Support future nurses during important moments in their education and careers through products designed to help them learn, grow, and succeed
