About Augment Code

Augment Code is the only AI coding assistant built for professional software engineers working in large, production-grade codebases. Our Context Engine understands your entire repo so developers can stay in flow while writing, reviewing, and understanding code. Backed by top-tier investors and trusted by leading engineering teams, we’re redefining how modern software is built.

Role Overview

We’re hiring a versatile Senior Marketing Manager to drive growth and advocacy across customer marketing, partner marketing, community, and content. You’ll join as a generalist with room to specialize deeply over time—in partner marketing, technical storytelling, community activations, product launches, or another spike you bring.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment. There’s no inherited playbook—you’ll help write it. If that excites you, you’ll thrive here. You’ll collaborate closely with founders and senior leaders, shaping the narrative for a breakout product changing how engineers work.

What You’ll Do

This will change over time as our business evolves. You’re not joining a marching band, this is jazz - expect improvisation. As a generalist with a spike, a typical week might include:

  • Orchestrating cross-functional launches that keep product, sales, and comms in sync
  • Spinning up and optimizing creator collaborations and performance experiments
  • Planning and running a meetup/demo series across the US
  • Partnering with eng and research to get deeply technical content published and distributed
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in B2B marketing (AI/DevTools ideal), with 2+ years in any mix of customer marketing, partner marketing, or community
  • Strong technical curiosity and ability to connect with senior engineering and product audiences
  • Experience leading partner programs or developer-facing integrations is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial, excellent communicator, comfortable with ambiguity, bias toward action
  • Extreme agency, low ego: you want to build and own programs, you like collaborating with others
Why Join Us
  • Work directly with founders and senior leadership
  • Shape the future of software development and developer experience
  • High ownership, competitive compensation, and meaningful equity
  • Mission-driven, high-growth team building for the next era of AI and software
Employee Benefits:
  • Flexible work hours
  • Competitive salary & Equity
  • Tools Stipend
  • Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance
  • Short Term and Long Term Disability
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off + Holidays. We focus on trust and ownership, not time in the chair
  • Numerous company social events

We will do everything we can within reason to make sure that your interview takes place in an environment that fairly and accurately assesses your skills. If you need assistance or accommodation, please contact your recruiter.
