Job Description

This is a full-time salaried position with Project Farma, a PerkinElmer company. The successful candidate will work remotely; however domestic travel may be required as needed to meet project requests.

The Marketing Specialist/ Senior Marketing Specialist will serve as a strategic partner to marketing, business development, and leadership teams within a professional services environment. The individual will ensure that employees are aligned to business priorities while also supporting how Project Farma communicates its services, capabilities, and value proposition internally. This role requires the ability to translate complex consulting and technical work into clear, consistent messaging that supports employee engagement, leadership alignment, and business growth. 

The ideal candidate brings experience from a professional services or consulting organization and understands how communications supports business development, client engagement, and overall firm performance. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own and execute Project Farma’s communications strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, service offerings, and organizational growth initiatives 
  • Serve as a marketing business partner to leadership, business development, and client engagement teams to support messaging related to consulting services, capabilities, and strategic initiatives 
  • Translate complex technical and professional services work into clear, actionable messaging for internal audiences and business enablement 
  • Partner with marketing to ensure alignment between communications and external campaigns, thought leadership, and brand positioning 
  • Support leadership communications, including executive messaging, organizational updates, and strategic initiatives 
  • Lead communication campaigns from planning through execution, ensuring employees receive timely, relevant, and targeted information 
  • Oversee town halls and leadership meetings, including development of run-of-show, presentation content, and execution 
  • Drive employee understanding of Project Farma’s services, value proposition, and role within the broader organization through targeted communications 
  • Contribute to go-to-market readiness by ensuring internal teams are equipped with clear and consistent messaging 
  • Support the development of presentations, enablement materials, and communications tied to business growth and client engagement efforts 
  • Track and measure engagement across internal communication channels and recommend improvements based on data and insights 
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and editorial standards across all organizational communications 
  • Develop and maintain communication channels that effectively reach a geographically dispersed workforce 
  • Gather project requirements and translate them into actionable plans; partner with marketing and project teams to deliver communications initiatives on time 
  • Document and continuously improve communication processes across the organization

Experience Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field 
  • 5–7 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or marketing communications 
  • Experience working within a professional services, consulting, or life sciences services organization required 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical or consulting services into clear, audience-appropriate messaging 
  • Experience supporting marketing, business development, or go-to-market initiatives through communications 
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills 
  • Proficiency with digital communication and employee engagement tools

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $105,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
