- Design and develop mechanical systems for AI robots.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate designs.
- Create engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing.
- Work closely with vendors to design and develop various modules.
- Perform prototype fabrication, testing, and validation to meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or automation.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with FEA and other simulation tools.
- Proven track record of leading projects from concept to production.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Requires 5 days/week in-office collaboration with the teams.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with robotics, mechatronics, or automation.
- Familiarity with actuators, sensors, and control systems.
- Rapid prototyping techniques.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in robotics.
Benefits
- Competitive stock options/equity programs.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan.
- Visa sponsorship and green card support for qualified candidates.
