CTP is looking for a Senior Media Supervisor, Associate Media Director, or Media Director to join our growing media team.

This role is for someone who is passionate about media strategy, loves the planning process, and still wants to stay close to the work. We’re looking for a paid media professional who has hands-on experience planning, buying, optimizing, and reporting on digital campaigns — and who is excited to help shape smart, effective media recommendations for clients.

This is not a social media management, content creation, production, influencer, or video-only role. The right candidate will have direct experience in paid media strategy and execution, including digital planning, platform buying, campaign optimization, performance analysis, and client-facing recommendations.

We are open to candidates at the Senior Media Supervisor, Associate Media Director, or Media Director level, depending on experience, leadership depth, client ownership, and readiness for growth. For the right Senior Supervisor, this could be a strong next step into an Associate Media Director role.

CTP is a collaborative agency where the work moves quickly, the problems are interesting, and the best ideas often come from teams working closely together. Our media team partners with analytics, creative, account, and strategy teams to connect client goals to smart, measurable media plans.

In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of integrated paid digital media campaigns, translating client objectives into thoughtful, performance-driven media strategies. You will help develop plans, manage campaign execution, analyze results, uncover insights, and bring clear recommendations to clients and internal teams.

You should be comfortable moving between strategy and execution. This person will not simply oversee media from a distance — they will remain close to the platforms, the numbers, the optimizations, and the details that make campaigns successful.

At the Senior Media Supervisor / Associate Media Director level, this role will balance hands-on campaign leadership with growing client ownership and team mentorship.

At the Media Director level, the role will include deeper client leadership, team development, strategic oversight, and greater influence on the direction of CTP’s media practice.

What You’ll Do

CTP is looking for someone who will contribute to our agency’s success by:

  • Leading paid digital media strategy and execution across multiple accounts
  • Building thoughtful media plans that connect client goals, audience insights, channel strategy, and measurable outcomes
  • Staying hands-on in campaign setup, trafficking, optimization, pacing, reporting, and performance analysis
  • Translating campaign data into clear, actionable insights and client-ready recommendations
  • Strengthening the connection between media strategy, analytics, and creative
  • Partnering closely with account, analytics, creative, and strategy teams
  • Bringing clarity and confidence to client conversations
  • Identifying opportunities to test new platforms, tools, tactics, and approaches
  • Mentoring junior team members and helping them grow their planning, buying, and analytical skills
  • Contributing to a collaborative, curious, and evolving media practice

Who You Are

You are someone who genuinely enjoys media — not just managing projects, but understanding how channels work, how audiences behave, how campaigns perform, and how smart planning can solve business challenges.

You have hands-on paid media buying experience, but you also love the thinking behind the plan. You are equally comfortable digging into performance data, building a recommendation, talking through strategy with a client, and helping a junior team member understand why an optimization matters.

You are curious, collaborative, organized, and excited by the opportunity to help grow a media practice inside an agency that values both great work and good people.

Qualifications

  • Ability to commute to our Boston office two days per week, Tuesday and Wednesday
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Approximately 6–10+ years of paid media experience, preferably within an agency environment
  • Direct experience planning, buying, optimizing, and reporting on paid digital campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with paid digital channels such as programmatic display, paid search, paid social, online video, digital audio, native, or other performance media channels
  • Experience with ad-serving and campaign management platforms such as Google Campaign Manager, CM360/DCM, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort translating data into insights and recommendations
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Experience contributing to client conversations and presenting media recommendations
  • A collaborative mindset, with experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
  • Natural curiosity about the evolving digital landscape and enthusiasm for testing new platforms, technologies, and approaches
  • Familiarity with media research tools such as Kantar, Comscore, Nielsen, Resonate, MRI-Simmons, or similar platforms is a plus

A Note on Level

We are open to candidates at different stages of senior media leadership. You may be a strong Senior Media Supervisor ready to become an Associate Media Director, or you may already be operating at the AMD or Media Director level. The final title, scope, and compensation will be aligned to experience, leadership depth, and client ownership.

If you are passionate about paid media, enjoy both planning and hands-on buying, and want to help shape meaningful work in a collaborative agency environment, we’d love to meet you.

Please note, all employees are required to be in-office at our CTP location on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $125,000 annually. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and scope of responsibility.  Senior Media Supervisor candidates will fall toward the lower end of the range, with Associate Media Director and Media Director candidates aligned accordingly. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative, supportive culture focused on delivering breakthrough ideas for our clients.

We are an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment. If you require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process or in your work once hired, please contact our Human Resources Department.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
