Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MERN Stack Developer to join the Wealth Management Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable, cloud-native web applications using React.js, Node.js/NestJS, AWS, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes. The role requires strong full-stack development expertise, experience building microservices-based applications, and the ability to lead technical design and development efforts. Similar responsibilities are documented for WMT full-stack developer roles involving ReactJS, NodeJS, AWS EKS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, APIs, and CI/CD deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React.js, Node.js, and NestJS.
- Build reusable, scalable, and secure REST APIs and microservices.
- Develop responsive and high-performance user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
- Design and optimize data models using MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Deploy and support applications on AWS cloud platforms.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments through Kubernetes (AWS EKS).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across projects.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js and NestJS
- Experience building RESTful APIs and Microservices
- Expertise with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM)
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience with application security, scalability, and performance optimization
