About The Team

The Core Maps Experience team is a core team responsible for driving the underlying mapping frameworks and the advanced implementation of mapping functionality. They will guide the direction of our future user experience by introducing new and improved capabilities.

About the Job

This role is to be a key driver of technical capabilities within our Core Maps Experience team, focused on owning the entire mapping layer for the Life360 application. This includes implementing our foundational mapping layers within the application. This role can define the future direction, including projects such as building an editor to enable real-time map iteration with the design team.

This individual would be a key contributor to our North Star design, which heavily relies on creating a modular but cohesive mapping experience that is scalable and can be worked on by hundreds of mobile engineers.

This is an extremely high leverage and challenging role that has the capability to greatly increase not only our ability to deliver delight to our customers directly but also indirectly through making the entire mobile engineering group working within our core experiences more effective.

The US based salary range for this position is $144,500 to 213,000. The Canada-based salary range for this position is 169,500 to 199,500 CAD. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
