The world of digital assets is accelerating in speed, magnitude, and complexity, opening the door to new ways for leveraging the blockchain. Fireblocks’ platform and network provide the simplest and most secure way for companies to work with digital assets and it trusted by some of the largest financial institutions, banks, globally-recognized brands, and Web3 companies in the world, including BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, ANZ Bank, Revolut, and thousands more.

About the Role

Fireblocks is looking for a Senior Motion Designer to define how motion expresses the Fireblocks brand across marketing, web, events, and product experiences. You will build our scalable motion language from the ground up — translating complex, infrastructure-level technology into clear and compelling 2D motion graphics that feel distinctly Fireblocks.

This is a highly collaborative role, sitting within the Brand team and working closely with product, marketing, and content. You bring deep SaaS product animation experience, a sharp eye for UI motion, and a portfolio that shows both brand storytelling and functional product design in motion.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and build Fireblocks’ brand motion system, including a scalable motion kit that unifies our visual identity across touchpoints
  • Design and produce 2D motion assets for brand campaigns, product launches, web experiences, events, and social
  • Create UI and product animations for web, including micro-interactions, transitions, and storytelling moments using Lottie
  • Produce product demo and instructional-style videos that simplify complex workflows through motion graphics and clear visual storytelling
  • Edit live-action video, including interviews, customer stories, and brand narratives
  • Establish motion principles, documentation, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality at scale

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of motion design experience, with significant time in-house at a B2B SaaS or enterprise tech company  *portfolio required*
  • 2+ years of SaaS industry experience, with a strong understanding of how motion supports product marketing and brand systems
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; familiarity with AI-first motion tooling
  • Deep expertise in 2D motion design, animation principles, pacing, and visual storytelling. This role is primarily 2D; 3D experience is not required
  • Proven ability to create Lottie animations optimized for web performance
  • Experience animating SaaS or fintech product UI: feature reveals, onboarding flows, micro-interactions, and instructional content
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable presenting and iterating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • High bar for craft and polish, paired with the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in digital assets, fintech, or infrastructure technology
  • Familiarity with Figma for motion handoff and design system alignment
  • Interest in or working knowledge of AI-assisted motion tools (e.g. Runway, Adobe Firefly, Kling)

For employees hired to work from our NYC HQ, Fireblocks is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range is specific to New York City and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as years of experience, skills, and other business needs. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and each compensation decision is dependent on each individual case. A reasonable base salary range estimate for this position is $125,000 - $170,000. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a target bonus, a very competitive equity grant, and very generous benefits.

While we believe competitive compensation is a critical aspect of your decision to join us, we do hope you also spend time considering why our mission and culture are right for you. We are creating something transformational here, and we hope you are as excited about the future as we are.

Fireblocks' mission is to enable every business to easily and securely access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. In order to do that, we strongly believe our workforce should be as diverse as our clients, and this is why we embrace diversity and inclusion in all its forms.
