We are looking for a Senior Network Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Chief Security Officer and will be based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network infrastructures. having a proven track record of leading complex networking projects, optimizing performance, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of network systems. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on expertise in managing teams, vendors, and emerging network technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and execute the organization’s network strategy aligned with business goals and technology roadmap.
  • Hire, lead and mentor a team of network engineers, administrators, and security professionals.
  • Develop and enforce network policies, standards, and procedures to ensure operational excellence.

Network Architecture & Operations:

  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wireless, and data center networks.
  • Ensure optimal network performance, reliability, and scalability across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Implement robust network monitoring, fault management, and disaster recovery mechanisms.

Security & Compliance:

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to safeguard the network against internal and external threats.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NERC).
  • Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, Data Loss Prevention, and secure remote access solutions.

Performance & Innovation:

  • Continuously evaluate network performance and recommend enhancements for speed, redundancy, and security.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies (e.g., SDN, Cloud Networking, Zero Trust Architecture).
  • Drive network automation, orchestration, and AI-based performance optimization initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 15+ years in network design, implementation, and management, with 7+ years in leadership roles.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, PMP, or equivalent enterprise networking credentials.

Technical Expertise:

  • Routing and Switching (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.)
  • Firewalls and Security Appliances (Palo Alto, Fortinet, ASA)
  • Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, Oracle)
  • Network Automation and Monitoring Tools (Ansible, SolarWinds, Nagios, Grafana, Site 24x7, etc.)
  • SD-WAN, VPN, and Remote Connectivity Solutions (Silver peak, Cisco Meraki)
  • Wireless technology (Aruba, Cisco)

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities under high-pressure situations.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on technical aptitude.
  • Ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.

Salary Ranges:$175,500.00 - $252,500.00
