Ensure continuous data protection and system availability using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR) alongside on-premises backup solutions

  • Enterprise Email & SaaS: Administer Microsoft 365 with a heavy emphasis on Exchange Online architecture, email security/hygiene, mail flow routing, and core collaboration platforms

  • Monitoring & Observability: Design and implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems across all network, cloud, and server infrastructure to ensure uptime and performance

  • Automation & Infrastructure as Code: Automate routine operations, server provisioning, and maintenance tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and Python to improve reliability and reduce manual effort

  • Tier 3 Escalation: Provide advanced troubleshooting and act as the final escalation point for complex cloud infrastructure, physical/virtual servers, physical network and global Wi-Fi diagnostics, and identity issues

  • Security & Documentation: Partner with Security to implement preventative controls and support incident response. Define, document, and enforce infrastructure standards, SOPs, and architectural diagrams

What You Will Need

  • 8+ years in Systems/Network Engineering with proven experience managing multi-site, global office network connectivity. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki stack, HA WAN environments, and physical Wi-Fi troubleshooting

  • Solid understanding of physical data room components, including low-voltage cabling, patch panels, UPS maintenance, and IoT/security devices (cameras, access control)

  • Strong experience with AWS and Azure cloud networking architectures and secure hybrid routing

  • Deep, production-level expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and identity governance in a pure-cloud identity environment (no legacy Active Directory or Group Policy)

  • Proven experience administration and provisioning of Windows and Linux server environments, with specific experience managing updates via Azure Update Manager

  • Hands-on experience designing and executing backup and disaster recovery workflows using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR). Proven ability to define and meet RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) metrics

  • Proven scripting expertise with PowerShell, Bash, and Python to drive operational efficiency

  • Advanced knowledge of Exchange Online, mail flow management, and email security protocols (DKIM, DMARC, SPF)
