ATAK Interactive is hiring a Senior Paid Media Strategist to lead paid media strategy for our clients across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Reddit Ads.

This role owns the full arc of a campaign: turning client goals into a strategy, then building, launching, testing, and optimizing it. That includes the creative direction, because the two are too connected to sit in separate lanes. We're looking for someone who already uses AI to move from idea to in-market quickly, and who won't be waiting in anyone's queue to get there.

Strategy & Planning
  • Own paid media strategy across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Reddit, translating client goals into a channel plan, budget approach, and testing roadmap.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to shape targeting, offers, and positioning.
  • Align paid strategy with organic and broader marketing efforts, working directly with internal teams.
Campaign Execution & Optimization
  • Own the full path to conversion, not just the campaign. If a landing page is costing you conversions, we are looking to you to test and iterate to right the ship. You're accountable for what happens after the click as much as before it!
  • Build, manage, and optimize campaigns against the goals in the strategy, not just to keep them afloat.
  • Test creative, landing pages, offers, and bidding approaches, and adjust based on what the data actually shows.
  • Run a real testing cadence. Enough in market to learn something, killed fast when it loses, scaled fast when it wins.
  • Monitor KPIs and course correct before the client has to ask.
Creative Direction
  • Own creative direction for your campaigns. You decide what gets made and why, and you're accountable for whether it performs.
  • Work shoulder to shoulder with our design team as a partner in getting things production ready and on brand.
  • Use AI to move quickly from insight to concept, ad copy, and rough comps so you're never blocked waiting to start.
  • Mine fresh inputs for angles: competitor ad libraries, sales calls, customer reviews, support tickets, webinar and podcast transcripts.
AI, Tooling & Data
  • Bring your own AI workflows and apply them to real client accounts from day one.
  • Work with the Google Ads MCP and API and Meta's API to pull, analyze, and act on account data directly rather than clicking through the UI or waiting on someone else to build a report.
  • Build workflows that run on a cadence and read their own results, not one-off prompts. Search term review, negative list maintenance, anomaly detection, weekly performance narratives, QA.
  • Turn what works into documented playbooks the rest of the team can run.
  • Know where automation ends. Judgment about which client, which offer, and which angle is still the job.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and report performance using Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Databox.
  • Turn results into recommendations that improve conversion rates and lower acquisition costs.
  • Present both the strategy and the results to clients and internal teams, and speak to the "why" behind each.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with account managers to keep client goals and expectations aligned.
  • Stay current on platform shifts and bring that knowledge back into how we plan campaigns.
  • Help refine ATAK's internal processes for scoping and running paid strategy work.

Requirements
  • 3-5+ years in performance marketing, agency experience preferred.
  • A track record of building paid media strategy from the ground up based on client goals, not executing a plan handed to you.
  • Strong expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads, plus conversion rate optimization. Experience with LinkedIn and Reddit Ads is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on experience with the Google Ads MCP and API and the Meta Marketing API. You should be comfortable working with these accounts programmatically, not just through the platform interface.
  • You use AI daily in actual client work and can show us what you've built: a workflow, a prompt library, a script, a testing system. Curiosity is not the same as practice.
  • Comfort with data at volume. You don't need to be a developer, but a 30,000-row export shouldn't slow you down.
  • Hands-on with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and HubSpot.
  • Comfortable presenting strategic recommendations directly to clients.
  • Experience with both demand generation and lead generation.

Benefits

Full benefits package including unlimited PTO, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, and a 401k with 5% match.

Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000/yr.
