What does Partnerships mean at Adyen?

At Adyen, partnerships are a core driver of growth, with a large and increasing share of enterprise deals influenced by technology partners. We are seeking a Senior Partnership Manager to scale and optimize our relationships with both regional and global technology partners. This role owns high-impact relationships with some of the largest Enterprise Software companies on the planet, and is responsible for significant pipeline and margin. You will act as the local market expert while owning a Global portfolio.

Senior Partner Manager, Technology Partnerships

The Role

You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to drive best in class product integrations with these partners that lead to strong joint revenue outcomes. With a strong understanding of modern commerce and enterprise technology stacks, you will prioritize a portfolio of partners, identify scalable growth opportunities, and deliver measurable commercial impact. This role is suited for a senior operator who combines strategic judgment with hands-on execution and is comfortable owning outcomes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment using the Adyen Formula as a guiding principle.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and nurture strategic commercial relationships with key technology partners that enable world class customer experiences for current and new Adyen clients benefitting from a joint solution.
  • Identify and qualify new partnership opportunities with leading third-party platforms and systems (e.g., ecommerce platforms, ERP systems, retail/point-of-sale providers).
  • Drive technical enablement and integrations to ensure partners are well-equipped to support Adyen’s customers and to help Adyen win new business.
  • Negotiate commercial partnership models, terms, and agreements that benefit both Adyen and our partners.
  • Present Adyen’s value proposition clearly to a broad set of stakeholders at partner companies and represent Adyen at partner events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Work closely with Adyen’s global sales teams to attend partner meetings (existing and prospective), aligning sales motions and partner strategies.
  • Nurture and grow existing partnerships — tracking performance, identifying upsell opportunities, and helping partners scale with Adyen.

Who You Are

  • Minimum ~8+ years experience in strategic partnerships / channel development or a related commercial function
  • Experience working with commerce platforms, ERP systems, POS software, or other ecosystem partners that help merchants grow
  • Proven track record managing partner relationships and integrations, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of building relationships at senior levels both internally and externally.
  • Ability to drive commercial outcomes and work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Always keeping a team first mindset. This is key to succeed at Adyen where we believe that winning is more important than ego.

Location & Work Expectations

  • This role is based out of our San Francisco or New York office (hybrid, 3 days per week).
  • Adyen values in-person collaboration, and we are an office-first company.
  • Some domestic and international travel will be required.
