IS THIS YOU?

You are a senior partnerships professional with a track record of exceeding targets and the instinct to bring others up with you. You have managed or mentored junior reps, owned a complex book of business end-to-end, and know how to balance individual performance with team leadership. You want a role where both things are valued equally.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Linkby is expanding its Southern California team and looking for a Senior Partnerships Manager to anchor our SoCal presence. This is a senior full-cycle role with team leadership responsibility. You will carry your own high-value book of business from prospecting through close, onboarding, and long-term account ownership, while coaching and developing junior team members in the region.

Part of what makes this role exciting is what you will be selling. Linkby is not catching up to this shift. We are leading it. You will be working with advertisers at the forefront of AI Visibility / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), helping them understand and act on a category that most of the market is still figuring out.

Remote role with occasional WeWork days and team outings. Must be based in Southern California.

- Contribute to hiring conversations, rep onboarding, and team culture in the SoCal hub

- Represent Linkby at industry events and client meetings across the region

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 5+ years in partnerships, sales, or account management within digital media, adtech, affiliate marketing, or performance marketing

- 1-2+ years of team management, sales leadership, or formal mentorship of junior reps

- Full-cycle experience: equally strong at winning new business and managing accounts, campaigns, and relationships long-term

- Consistent track record of exceeding individual revenue targets while elevating team performance

- Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem: affiliate marketing, native content, CPC models, publisher monetization, or programmatic

- Experience working with or selling to DTC brands, ecommerce companies, or media agencies

- CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and lead generation tools

- Must be based in Southern California - Los Angeles or San Diego preferred.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
