Job Description Summary:

The Senior Planner, Supply Chain is responsible for supply chain planning and tactical activities to forecast and plan materials, equipment, and services required to support business operations. Provides business acumen and industry perspective to develop broad, competitive, and agile strategies for the materials and services portfolio. Develops and maintains effective relationships with cross-functional and cross-channel teams while owning communication related to forecast changes and scenario modeling aligned with operating strategy. Conducts all business activities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and maintains close working relationships with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage the Planning function and support commercial and clinical efforts in Aortic Regurgitation.
  • Lead monthly S&OP, presenting demand and supply requirements across global manufacturing sites, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Finance, and Production to translate business insights into actionable planning strategies.
  • Exercise judgment and knowledge of assigned portfolio to ensure planning is consistent with changing levels of product demand.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure supply plans align with overall demand, program timelines and strategy.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy, inventory turns, aged inventory, excess inventory, and product availability.
  • Execute risk mitigation and corrective action plans to manage KPIs.
  • Direct proper utilization of the ERP system and perform timely database maintenance as required.
  • Manage inventory levels, internally and externally, to optimize resources and maximize working capital.
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years in planning or equivalent.
  • Experience working with MRP/ERP systems (strong preference for QAD).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Access, Outlook) or similar software.
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP, Lean/Six Sigma, and/or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience in the medical device FDA regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Purchasing experience is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and good understanding of team dynamics.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to connect the detail to higher level goals and to identify patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), team orientation, ability to negotiate towards positive outcomes, and presentation skills to all levels of staff and management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely navigate warehouse and manufacturing environments when onsite, which may include standing, walking, and adhering to site-specific safety requirements (e.g., PPE such as safety shoes, eye protection, or other standard protective equipment).
  • Primarily office-based role requiring prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and working at a desk using standard office equipment.
