Job Title: Senior Platform and Infrastructure Engineer

Company Description: Context - Lux Capital and General Catalyst backed AI startup

Job Description:
As our first dedicated infrastructure hire, you will own the deployment architecture for our Enterprise Agent OS. You will design multi-cloud systems for VPC, private cloud, and air-gapped environments, enabling Fortune 100 customers to run agents securely. This foundational role bridges AI innovation with robust enterprise-grade infrastructure and developer tooling.

Location: San Francisco, USA

Why this role is remarkable:

  • Direct ownership of the infrastructure layer for a company already live in production with Fortune 100 and government customers.

  • Massive financial backing with a $11M seed round at a $70M valuation from top-tier investors like Lux Capital, General Catalyst, and Qualcomm Ventures.

  • Rare opportunity to join a lean 7-person engineering team led by a Thiel Fellow, shaping the deployment standards for the next generation of enterprise AI.

What you will do:

  • Design and build multi-cloud deployment infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP to support VPC and air-gapped on-prem installs.

  • Create high-polish developer tooling and infrastructure-as-code practices that enable seamless, secure deployments for enterprise-scale clients.

  • Architect networking and security perimeters that allow AI agents to connect to 300+ enterprise tools while inheriting full permission structures.

The ideal candidate:

  • 3-7 years of experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically mastering VPC architecture, networking, and security protocols in regulated environments.

  • Proven track record of building deployment systems for enterprise SaaS or private cloud products, ideally within a fast-paced startup setting.

  • Strong proficiency with modern infrastructure tools and a deep interest in AI/ML infrastructure, Vercel deployments, and developer experience.
