Job Description

General Responsibilities:

The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery, governance, and oversight of transaction management services across an assigned portfolio and geography. This role ensures the successful execution of real estate strategies, driving value through complex deal negotiations, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to influence outcomes across diverse stakeholders.

Knowledge & Experience:
–    10+ years of experience in portfolio and transaction management.
–    Proven track record of negotiating and executing complex deals.
–    Experience in financial services sector preferred.
–    Strong understanding of property legislation and compliance.
–    Preferred experience working in global, matrixed organizations.

Key Interfaces: Client stakeholders (local, regional, global), brokerage partners, legal advisors, finance teams, internal service lines (EM, PAM, PM), and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
–    Lead and manage all phases of real estate transactions, including lease renewals, acquisitions, dispositions, and subleases, from strategy development through execution (LOI preparation, negotiations, lease review, and closing).
–    Drive commercial negotiations with landlords, brokers, and third parties to secure optimal business outcomes.
–    Provide strong governance across transaction activities, ensuring adherence to client policies, standards, and processes.
–    Oversee the selection, engagement, and performance management of brokers, including C&W off-account brokers.
–    Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders and third-party partners, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and effective communication.
–    Lead client meetings, deliver presentations, and provide regular reporting on transaction activity and overall portfolio performance.
–    Manage risks, escalations, and issue resolution in coordination with leadership teams.
–    Support financial analysis, business case development, and provide input into budgeting processes (FRP), ensuring informed decision-making.
–    Identify and drive strategic initiatives to optimize portfolio performance and deliver value.
–    Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely maintenance of data across systems (e.g., Salesforce, Sequentra) and oversee the delivery of reporting requirements.
–    Act as the primary interface with landlords and external stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
–    Demonstrate strong project management capabilities, taking ownership of deliverables, timelines, and critical milestones.
–    Lead and support team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Process Management: 
–    Ensure adherence to all client governance frameworks and standard operating procedures.
–    Establish and implement best-in-class processes and playbooks.
–    Monitor KPIs and ensure performance standards are consistently met.
–    Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
–    Ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting 
–    Instruct and ensure smooth implementation of client site visits/market tours 

Key Performance Indicators: 
–    Client satisfaction and stakeholder feedback.
–    Successful delivery of transactions within timelines and budget.
–    Achievement of cost savings and value creation.
–    Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
–    Operational efficiency and continuous improvement delivery.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 108,375.00 - $127,500.00
