Senior Power Platform Developer 

Position Overview 

We are seeking a skilled Senior Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient applications. This is an individual contributor role and will require customer facing skills to balance immediate needs compared to longer term sustainability.  

This role can be hybrid in Indianapolis or sit 100% remote supporting EST hours (including some earlier morning meetings). 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and develop custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).  
  • Automate workflows and business processes using Power Automate.  
  • Understand how Power BI dashboards integrate with the Power Platform. Experience building dashboards and reports is beneficial but not required.  
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third-party systems.  
  • Manage and configure Dataverse and other data sources.  
  • Ensure solutions adhere to best practices for security, performance, and governance.  
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform applications.  
  • Stay current with new features and updates within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.  

Required Qualifications 

  • Proven experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform.  
  • Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.  
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 integrations.  
  • Proficiency in Power Fx, JSON, and basic scripting.  
  • Understanding of data modeling, security roles, and environment management.  
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or related certifications.  
  • Experience with Azure services, API integrations, and custom connectors.  
  • Experience implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for Power Platform using solution-based development, including configuring and managing Power Pipelines (automated or manual) for deploying managed/unmanaged solutions across DEV/TEST/PROD environments. 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
