Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Senior Principal Scientist (R4) to plan and implement experiments using in vitro assays and technologies to support drug discovery. Plan and implement experiments using biomedical assays, including absorbance and fluorescence-based assays including HTRF, AlphaScreen/Lisa, and Polarization, as well as cell assays with engineered cell lines. Support pioneering small molecule discovery and support SAR for multiple projects through their data and analysis within a multidisciplinary team. Generate high-quality, reproducible data by leveraging liquid handling, laboratory automation, and advanced data analysis tools. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field, and 3 years of experience with biochemical assays, mammalian cell culture, and assay development. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with liquid handling systems and automation, including Biomek, Hamilton, ECHO, and Integra; 3 years of experience with data analysis software, including GraphPad Prism or Dotmatics; and 3 years of experience with protein interaction technologies, including: HiBiT, AlphaLisa, and BLI. 5% domestic travel required. #LI-DNI

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$112,549.00 - $187,000.00 per year

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
