Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage process improvement projects to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
  • Analyze data and perform statistical analysis to identify process trends and opportunities
  • Implement process enhancements and monitor their effectiveness
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and quality
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (mechanical, aerospace, material science, or equivalent) 
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience or demonstrate the ability to make improvements to a manufacturing process
  • Ability to multitask, keep track and bring projects to closure
  • Must show definite interest and desire to work on process problems and improvements in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have aptitude for running scientific experiments with the use of DOE and other statistical techniques
  • Ability and desire to work hands-on in a team environment is necessary
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
 
WE VALUE:
  • 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • 7+ years comprehensive experience with automation equipment, equipment programing, running scientific experiments with the use of DOE and other statistical techniques
  • 7+ years working in a dynamic & cross functional team environment and demonstrating technical leadership
  • 7+ years of working experience with pick and place machines, epoxy dispensers, or wire bonding machines
  • 7+ years of recent hands on and technical experience with sourcing, selecting, and qualifying automation equipment
  • Must have good understanding of common assembly materials (e.g., epoxy, fine wires, mechanical assembly tools)
  • Must have great communication skills are required to work with a wide variety of people, including design engineers, project engineers, and manufacturing personnel
 
The annual base salary range for this position is $111,320 - $139,150. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
