  • Financial & Risk Analysis: Analyze procurement data and vendor proposals to forecast expenses, mitigate supply chain risks, and drive continuous cost improvements without sacrificing quality or deployment speed.  This role requires a working level of FP&A in order to keep pace.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: This role is embedded within Engineering - work closely with engineering teams and finance leadership to understand technical requirements, aligning procurement strategies with aggressive product delivery timelines and company growth goals.

  • Legal Familiarity: Strong capability to navigate and review complex legal jargon, ensuring company interests are protected while facilitating smooth collaboration with legal counsel.
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Eager to tackle supply chain bottlenecks, navigate challenging vendor dynamics, and creatively structure deals that benefit the company's financial health.
  • Successful completion of a background check

Preferred:

  • Direct experience procuring hardware, software, or services specifically within the datacenter, cloud computing, networking, or AI technology space.
  • Familiarity with modern procurement software, ERP systems, and supply chain best practices in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment.
  • Advanced degree or certification in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Law (e.g., CPSM, JD).
