About this role

In this role, you will be part of the Product team and work closely with our 5 amazing product managers to help equip them with the data insights they need to make critical business bets. The hiring manager is Karishma Irani, and you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with the VP of Product to define and execute on Scribe's data strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and delivering it through data initiatives.

  • Partnering closely with our Data Engineering, Revenue Ops, and Finance teams to leverage their help to paint a holistic picture for customer impact.

  • Develop and implement North Star metrics by creating scalable datasets and dynamic dashboards, delivering timely, actionable insights that enable data-driven decision-making.

  • Measuring the impact of every new feature before, during, and after development to ensure everything we ship positively impacts our business metrics.

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on product health and usage using funnel analysis, root cause analysis, and statistical modeling to uncover insights and drive growth.

  • Help build the foundation for a high-performing data analytics team by mentoring future analysts and fostering a culture of rigorous experimentation and continuous learning.

About you

You’d be a great fit for this role if you:

  • Proactively identify new product opportunities by deeply understanding our data and paint a stronger picture for the team.

  • Have 5+ years of experience in data-focused roles that support a product audience and can help make roadmap trade-offs in a fast-paced environment (startup experience preferred).

  • Have expertise in SQL to build complex, scalable queries, with familiarity in a scripting language like Python for descriptive and statistical analysis.

  • Have hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Sigma Computing, and Mixpanel (or similar tools).

  • Care about the details. You pride yourself on going above and beyond the surface-level asks to leverage data to help predict how every new feature will impact our overall business.

  • Deeply understand the users. You’re excited about understanding our rich dataset across different customer cohorts and can build metrics frameworks to explain user behaviors.

  • Thrive in high autonomy. Expect half your workload to be data requests and the other half to be dedicated to identifying new product opportunities that you proactively surface with the product team.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies for diverse audiences.

  • Customer and business-oriented mindset, adept at balancing quantitative data with qualitative insights from customer interactions to drive product and strategic decisions.

Compensation

$150,000 - $180,000 base + Equity + Benefits
