The role:

As a Senior Product Analyst at Stepful, you'll be at the intersection of data science and product strategy, transforming complex student behavioral data into actionable insights that drive product decisions. Your impact will extend across the organization as you partner with cross-functional teams to democratize data access and accelerate decision-making.

What you’ll do:
  • Focus on improving our product through a primarily data lens (55%)

    • Analyzing student behavior to formulate new hypothesis

    • Help us quantify impact of executed work (i.e. experiment/spec outcomes)

    • Help us prioritize by understanding reach/impact of potential work

  • Support X-functional team members with data needs (40%)

    • Ad-hoc requests from other teams

    • Manage/systematize weekly/quarterly metric reporting

  • Data Infrastructure (co-management with engineering team) (5%)

    • Manage preset versioning/source of truth

    • Data dictionaries/ information transparency

    • Educating other team members on data best practices

This job is for you if you have:
  • 5+ years overall experience with a background in a quantitative discipline

  • 3+ years of work experience working with tools such as Preset, Looker, Tableau or comparable data visualization tools and manipulating large data sets using SQL/Python/R/SAS

  • Experience with A/B testing or other experiment/data driven product development organizations

  • A passion to get deep into the weeds with data to deeply understand our students, coaches, instructors, healthcare partners and more 

  • Experience building relationships with teammates, influencing decisions at a variety of levels and across multiple teams

Bonus points if you have:
  • Previous startup experience especially at B2B2C or B2C  EdTech/Healthcare

Step 5: Onsite interview at office in SoHo with:

  • Co-founder/CPO

  • Product Manager

  • Operations Manager

Compensation:

$140k - $180k / 0.02-0.06% equity

Compensation for this role will fall within the pay range listed and will be determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications as well as interview evaluation. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
