Our commitment to fostering an exceptional workplace culture has earned us notable recognitions, including being listed as a Great Place to Work in both the technology and healthcare sectors. Join us in our mission to empower healthcare innovators and improve healthcare differently.

What you can expect when joining the team

As a Senior Product Designer reporting to the Director of Product Design, you’ll join a collaborative team of Product Designers and UX Researchers focused on creating better healthcare experiences.

This is a remote role; however, occasional in-person collaboration at our Montreal office is expected, up to twice per month when needed.

You’ll work as part of a Product / Design / Engineering triad, partnering closely with a Product Manager, Architect, and development teams to turn complex problems and user needs into simple, intuitive, and valuable experiences.

AI is an integral part of how we design. You’ll use AI throughout the design and research process to explore, prototype, iterate, synthesize, and validate faster, while applying strong design judgment and maintaining a high bar for quality.

What You'll Do

Product Design

  • Own the end-to-end design process, from problem exploration through validation and delivery

  • Translate complex healthcare workflows and user needs into intuitive web and mobile experiences

  • Rapidly prototype, test, and refine solutions

  • Create clear user flows, information architecture, interaction patterns, and high-fidelity designs

  • Leverage and contribute to our Design System to create consistent and scalable experiences

  • Partner closely with Engineering throughout implementation to ensure design quality

  • Apply accessibility and inclusive design principles throughout your work

AI & Product Design

  • Integrate AI into your day-to-day Product Design practice

  • Use AI to accelerate exploration, prototyping, iteration, synthesis, and validation

  • Build functional prototypes using tools such as Figma Make, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted tools

  • Explore how AI can improve product experiences and simplify complex workflows

  • Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply strong design judgment

Research & Validation

  • Partner with our Principal UX Researcher, who will provide guidance and oversight for designer-led research

  • Plan and conduct user interviews, usability testing, and validation activities when appropriate

  • Use qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform design decisions

  • Turn research insights and user feedback into actionable design improvements

  • Document research and insights in Dovetail, our centralized research repository

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Operate as an equal partner within the Product / Design / Engineering triad

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, Researchers, and Technical Writers

  • Help frame problems, challenge assumptions, and contribute to product direction

  • Present and defend design decisions using clear rationale, evidence, and user insights

  • Facilitate workshops and actively participate in design critiques

  • Contribute to raising the quality of our Product Design practice

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Designer

  • Experience designing complex digital products in B2G, B2B, or B2C SaaS environments

  • Expert proficiency in Figma, prototyping, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design

  • Experience designing responsive web and mobile products

  • Strong experience with Design Systems

  • Solid understanding of user research, usability testing, accessibility, and inclusive design

  • Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints

  • Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering in multidisciplinary teams

  • Comfort working through ambiguity and evolving requirements

AI Fluency

  • Strong AI fluency and curiosity, with demonstrated use of AI in day-to-day Product Design

  • Ability to identify when, where, and how AI can meaningfully improve the design process

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Figma Make, Cursor, or equivalent

  • Ability to rapidly experiment with emerging AI tools while critically evaluating their outputs

Communication & Languages

  • Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills

  • Comfortable presenting and defending design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences

Who You Are

You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, challenging assumptions, and working collaboratively to move complex problems forward.

You combine strong design craft, product thinking, user understanding, and critical judgment, and you’re comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands-on design.

You bring a collaborative approach to design. You can advocate strongly for your decisions without becoming attached to a particular solution, and you welcome critique, new evidence, and alternative perspectives as opportunities to improve the outcome.

Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry, along with knowledge of WCAG/AODA accessibility standards, is considered an asset.

Why join us

  • Work on meaningful healthcare products used in complex, real-world environments

  • Have a strong voice in product decisions as part of the Product / Design / Engineering triad

  • Explore how AI can improve both the design process and the product experience

  • Collaborate with experienced Designers and Researchers in a growing design practice
