About Us

Grid’s end-to-end verification solution shields institutions, giving them the freedom to focus on what matters most. Our VAAS (Verification as a Service) product supports any FinTech, credit union, bank, or government agency seeking to enhance and streamline their customer verification processes. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help us grow the next generation of our product and expand our footprint in the industry.

Role Overview

The Senior Product Designer will be a key driver of product growth and enhancement, responsible for taking ownership of all product design within the company. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record of designing digital products from the ground up, who is proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, able to work automously by themselves with low-input, and comfortable with building out a team underneath them as the business grows. You will be working closely with the leadership team, engineering team, and creative director to ensure the product is positioned well for our growth goals and aligns with our overall brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the entire product design process from initial concept to final execution, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design

  • Collaborate with leadership, product, and engineering teams to conceptualize and design the next generation of our product

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure that the product maintains consistency with the brand’s overall aesthetic and tone

  • Improve upon and maintain design systems, guidelines, and documentation to ensure consistency across the product

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback, ensuring the product is intuitive and delightful to use

  • Take the initiative in proposing and driving design improvements without needing daily guidance; you will be the go-to expert for all product design decisions

  • Stay informed of industry trends, particularly within B2B and customer verification, ensuring our product design stays modern and competitive

What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably at a startup or fast-paced environment

  • Proven expertise in designing B2B products with complex workflows, ideally in the customer verification or fraud prevention space

  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and can autonomously manage design projects from concept to completion with minimal oversight

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process, user-centered designs, and real-world product impact

  • Proficiency in design, prototyping, and building design systems using Figma

  • Excellent communication skills, able to present design concepts and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical team members

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with the product team, developers, and the Creative Director to ensure alignment with broader business goals

  • Strong experience with UX/UI design principles, user research, and designing for web and mobile platforms
