Meet the team:

Glydways is looking for an outstanding product designer to join the Design team and build phenomenal end to end rider and operator experiences. Our unique product offering presents entirely new experiences both for the rider and the team of operators managing our systems. Join a team forging a new path for autonomous mass transit as we develop completely new solutions. 


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design clear, intuitive, and elegant interfaces for riders and operators.
  • Create end-to-end product flows that simplify complex systems.
  • Develop UI components and patterns that scale across platforms.
  • Communicate design intent through prototypes, specs, and visual assets.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure pixel-perfect execution.
  • Uphold design quality and consistency across all digital touchpoints.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 10+ years designing digital products, with a strong focus on UX and UI.
  • Expert knowledge of user-centered design and interaction principles.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates clarity, refinement, and creative problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Photoshop, or equivalents).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines.

*The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California is expected in the range of $190,000-$210,000 USD plus stock options, commensurate with experience.
