About the role

You'll design the experiences that help millions of people discover, try, and fall in love with Gamma. As the designer for our Growth team, you'll own design across onboarding flows, referral programs, and conversion optimization throughout our funnel. You'll ship experiments quickly, measure what works, and iterate based on data and user feedback.

This role sits at the intersection of creativity and impact. You'll balance craft with velocity, testing bold ideas while maintaining the quality bar that makes Gamma feel magical. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, data analysts, and the broader design team to define our growth design strategy. Our team has a strong in-office culture and works in person 4–5 days per week in San Francisco. We love working together to stay creative and connected, with flexibility to work from home when focus matters most.

What you'll do
  • Design onboarding, activation, and monetization experiences that help new users understand Gamma's value quickly and start creating immediately

  • Rapidly experiment, test hypotheses, and iterate on solutions

  • Build referral and growth loop experiences that turn existing users into advocates who share Gamma with their networks

  • Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to drive growth initiatives from concept to launch, balancing usability and business impact

  • Collaborate with the design team to maintain craft standards while moving fast and testing new ideas

  • Define KPIs and use data to inform design decisions, from A/B test results to user behavior patterns

What you'll bring
  • 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to move fast, experiment, and learn

  • Proven track record collaborating with growth teams, marketers, and data analysts to drive measurable outcomes

  • Experience designing onboarding flows, conversion-focused features, and continuous user education

  • Ability to balance creative vision with rigorous testing and an optimization mindset

  • Deep product design perspective and ability to give rich feedback to the broader design team

  • Comfort moving fluidly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution (Nice to have)

Compensation range:

The base salary for this full-time position, which spans multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $180K - $260K plus benefits & equity.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience and expertise in the requirements listed above.
