We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with extensive experience in educational/certification product strategy and execution to lead the development of the AI Literacy Certification Program for the social impact sector. This role will define and deliver a platform-agnostic certification product that empowers nonprofits, foundations, and social good organizations to adopt AI responsibly and confidently. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle to launch and continuous improve, ensuring the certification becomes the industry standard for AI literacy and responsible adoption.
A critical part of this role is driving deep alignment and collaboration across the AI Coalition for Social Impact and the Blackbaud Institute to ensure the certification reflects industry best practices, leverages institutional thought leadership, and is positioned effectively in the market.
What you'll do:
- Serve as the primary product liaison for the AI Coalition for Social Impact, an advisory body of external companies, practitioners, and AI experts.
- Structure and lead coalition meetings related to this initiative, working groups, and review cycles that inform the certification’s competencies, frameworks, and design.
- Translate coalition insights and recommendations into prioritized certification product requirements and roadmap updates.
- Maintain strong relationships with coalition members, ensuring engagement is productive, collaborative, and impactful.
- Own the full product lifecycle - from discovery and design through development, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize features and enhancements using data, customer feedback, and input from coalition partners and internal subject matter experts.
- Ensure alignment with Responsible AI guidelines and emerging regulatory frameworks relevant to AI literacy.
- Conduct market research, persona development, and analysis to identify opportunities and differentiation.
- Partner with Corporate Marketing to support content development, campaigns, and launch activities.
- Present the product and its impact at industry events, webinars, and partner engagements in collaboration with Marketing and the Blackbaud Institute.
- Define and track success metrics related to certification adoption, learning outcomes, customer satisfaction, and market penetration.
- Conduct ongoing user research and data analysis to inform improvements to curriculum, delivery, and product experience.
- Collaborate with the Blackbaud Institute to publish insights and findings that demonstrate sector impact.
- 8+ years in product management, with at least 3 years in senior-level roles.
- Proven track record of launching education, certification, or SaaS products at scale, including 0-to-1 programs or products.
- Experience in AI/ML, EdTech, or compliance-driven products strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, Responsible AI principles, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven decision-making and comfort with ambiguity and change agility.
- Strategic thinker with ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

The starting base pay is $101,900.00 to $132,800.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.Benefits Include:
