  • Hybrid working arrangement (onsite 2-3 days per week) in Santa Clara, CA
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with Enterprise Products
  • 2+ years of AI experience, including generative & agentic AI, LLMs, and RAG

At Cohesity, product management plays a central role in driving product development by working in close collaboration with our engineering, data science, and go-to-market teams. Our team works across all levels of the organization, engaging with executive stakeholders, directly with customers across the globe, and interacting heavily with our user experience team. You’ll do your best work at Cohesity with an incredibly talented team!

We’re looking for a visionary Product Manager – AI to drive the development of AI-powered experiences that redefine how enterprises interact with and secure their data. You’ll work on next-gen solutions in LLM usability, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and scalable operational insights — tackling some of the most complex and unsolved problems in AI and enterprise software.

This is a pivotal position that will help shape Cohesity’s overall AI strategy and roadmap across both its traditional customer-managed platforms and Cohesity’s cloud-based SaaS platforms, serving Cohesity’s ever-expanding list of enterprise customers across different verticals and geographies.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Own the lifecycle of product initiatives from inception to launch

  • Learn how to actually make LLMs useful for complex knowledge management

  • Tackle unsolved AI product and engineering problems — user experiences for Retrieval Augmented Generation, Agentic Workflows, operational insights over huge TB datasets

  • Gather feedback from strategic customers to inform product direction

  • Define disrupting business models, pricing packages, & other commercial standards

  • Work closely with our CTO office, Executives, Legal and Engineering teams

  • Help steer the growth of our product & engineering organization
     

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • 5-7 years of experience in product management and/or software engineering

  • Technical background with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

  • Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, especially LLMs, vector search, data catalog and intelligent agents

  • Experience in a B2B / commercial environment

  • Demonstrated ability to ship world-class enterprise software products

  • Big picture thinking while still delivering on the details

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making

  • Ability to use both qualitative and quantitative reasoning to communicate your ideas reasoning

  • Ability to navigate extreme ambiguity to deliver on outcomes

  • Desire to do whatever it takes to make the team successful — whether that’s doing support, testing new algorithm changes, or cleaning up tickets

Nice to Have:

  • Background or experience in Retrieval augmented generation (RAG)

  • Familiarity with large-scale data infrastructure and observability tools

  • Previous work on AI products in highly regulated or security-sensitive industries

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$189,000.00-$210,000.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
