Job Description
HiBob is an all-in-one HR software for people, payroll, and finance. The platform "Bob" brings work to life-helping employees connect and putting belonging at the heart of company culture. HiBob is a vibrant, dynamic place to work, with bright and resourceful people across New York, Tel Aviv, Lisbon, and beyond.
Bob Finance is HiBob's financial module, evolved from an acquired startup and now becoming a more deeply integrated part of the broader Bob ecosystem. Our focus is to grow Bob Finance as both a strong standalone solution and a strategic part of Bob's long-term vision-strengthening HR-Finance synergy, expanding our value within our ICP, and bringing more native, intelligent finance experiences into Bob.
We're expanding our product team to help shape the future of analytics in Bob Finance.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead a strategic product area across Analysis, AI-driven Insights, and Metric Builder -core parts of how Bob Finance turns data into trusted insights, reporting, and decision support. This role is not just about improving reporting features. It is about helping define and deliver the next generation of native Bob analytical experiences : from governed metric foundations, to self-serve analysis workflows, to richer narrative and AI-assisted Canvas experiences.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role requiring strong product intuition, technical fluency, and the ability to move between strategic framing and hands-on execution. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data/Platform, AI, GTM, and Customer-facing teams to help evolve Bob Finance's analytical capabilities in a way that creates customer value today while laying foundations for broader Bob platform potential over time.
The base salary range for this role is $185,000 - $215,000.
There is a strong preference to fill this role in NYC with a hybrid schedule out of our office, but we will consider exceptional candidates who are based in the EST time zone and open to working remotely.
Location Eligibility: While can be a remote position, HiBob is currently authorized to hire in the following states: CA. CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA.
Job Requirements
You're a versatile product leader and a strong collaborator. You thrive in ambiguity, love solving complex problems, and bring structured thinking that creates clarity and momentum. You're comfortable working across time zones, functions, and levels of abstraction-from long-term product direction to detailed workflow and prioritization decisions.
You're excited by products that sit at the intersection of data, metrics, workflows, and user experience . You understand that great analytical products are not just about displaying charts-they are about helping users trust the numbers, explore questions, communicate insights, and make better decisions.
You likely have strong intuition for building products where governed foundations and flexible end-user workflows must coexist. You may come from analytics, BI, FP&A, planning, or other data-heavy B2B product spaces. You are energized by the chance to shape a product area that can deliver meaningful customer value in the near term while also helping define a broader long-term direction.
What You'll Do:
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of owning products through the full lifecycle, from discovery to launch to ongoing iteration.
  • Experience building B2B SaaS products with meaningful complexity in workflows, data, or underlying business logic.
  • Strong product sense for analytical or data-heavy user experiences.
  • Comfortable partnering with technical teams on systems involving metrics, data models, permissions, governance, and performance trade-offs.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, from long-term product direction to detailed product decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align diverse global stakeholders around complex ideas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to reason about both user workflows and the systems that power them.
  • Deep empathy for customer needs, frustrations, and aspirations.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, global teams and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.

Bonus
  • Experience building products for finance or business users (FP&A tools, planning software, ERP, BI, analytics platforms).
  • Understanding of financial modeling concepts: forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, multi-dimensional data.
  • Experience designing products that replace or complement spreadsheets/manual workflows.
  • Experience working on platform-style product areas where multiple teams or product surfaces depend on shared foundations.

Job Responsibilities
As a member of our growing product team, you will play a key role in defining and delivering Bob Finance's analytics vision and roadmap:
  • Own product strategy and delivery for a major analytics domain spanning Analysis and Metric Builder -from discovery and definition through delivery, launch, and iteration.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how finance, HR, and business stakeholders use metrics, reports, dashboards, and narrative reporting to make decisions.
  • Shape analytical experiences that combine the flexibility and depth users expect from modern BI and planning tools with the trust, usability, and governance of a SaaS platform.
  • Help define what analytical capabilities should be improved incrementally versus rebuilt more natively as part of Bob's longer-term module and platform direction.
  • Drive experiences across:
    • self-serve analysis
    • KPI and metric definition
    • richer business reporting and drill-down workflows
    • Canvas-based storytelling and business context
    • AI-assisted generation, editing, and iteration of analytical outputs
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to translate complex customer needs into thoughtful product experiences and scalable technical solutions.
  • Work with platform, data, and AI partners to ensure the analytical stack is trustworthy, extensible, and aligned with broader Bob initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver seamless and impactful product experiences.
  • Conduct user research, market discovery, and competitive analysis to identify customer pain points and product opportunities.
  • Translate insights into clear requirements, product specs, success metrics, and prioritized roadmap decisions.
  • Define and track success metrics related to adoption, engagement, analytical depth, quality of insights, and customer outcomes.
