Reporting to the Director, Core Capabilities, the Sr. Digital Product Manager is an individual contributor who turns our core platform capabilities strategy into shippable solutions on the Experience Data Platform. Embedded with an assigned Core Capabilities engineering pod, this role focuses on capabilities such as TCPA Orchestrator, Attribution, PSC, and other reusable services, partnering with the Lead Digital Product Manager to translate business needs into clear, prioritized work for the pod.
The Sr. Digital Product Manager manages the backlog and day-to-day delivery for their capability domains with their assigned pod. Working in an Agile Scrum environment, they lead and participate in key ceremonies, coordinate closely with Engineering and other delivery teams, and ensure high-quality, on-time releases that align with business, technical, and compliance standards.
Success in this role requires solid product management skills, experience with agile delivery teams, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners. The Sr. Digital Product Manager owns a set of features end-to-end, contributes to roadmap planning, makes trade-off decisions based on team capacity and priorities, and maintains transparency and alignment across stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Write and refine epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide the assigned Core Capabilities engineering pod and reflect quality, governance, cost, and compliance requirements
- Partner with the Lead Digital Product Manager to translate strategy and roadmap into clear, prioritized work for the pod and related delivery teams
- Serve as product owner for the assigned pod, managing the product backlog and sprint planning to ensure aligned, consistent delivery of core capabilities
- Support creation and refinement of capability roadmaps by providing delivery insights, risks, and recommendations based on the pod's work
- Lead and participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives) with the pod, ensuring transparency across progress, risks, and decisions
- Partner with Engineering lead to calibrate sprint load using historical velocity, accurate story point hygiene, and team capacity (holidays, interrupts), and adjust mid sprint when risk materializes
- Owner of Definition of Ready (DoR). Ensure every story/feature meets a documented DoR (clear scope, dependencies identified, test approach, data requirements, and acceptance criteria) before it can be planned
- Own Definition of Done. Verify each story/feature satisfies DoD (tests passed, documentation updated, telemetry added, quality checks met, release notes prepared) prior to completion
- Support and maintain documentation stewardship. Keep feature specs, data flow diagrams, decision logs, and user guides current in the team's knowledge base as part of DoD
- Publish concise release notes and stakeholder updates (what changed, why it matters, how to validate, where to get help) before enabling features
- Act as final functional/data quality signoff at the pod level. Explicitly validating data accuracy, lineage, performance SLOs, and compliance checks before feature release
- Drive delivery across capability domains such as TCPA Orchestrator, Attribution, PSC, etc., in close collaboration with the Engineering pod and Architecture
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technical execution throughout the product lifecycle by serving as the day-to-day product contact for the pod
- Track and actively optimize key delivery milestones, dependencies, blockers, and risks to maintain visibility into capability roadmaps and upcoming releases
- Analyze delivery and product usage metrics; prepare simple reports or dashboards and recommend improvements to flow, quality, and stakeholder experience
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and end users into backlog refinement and future sprint planning for the pod
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of agile practices and product management processes within the Core Capabilities team
- Serve as a resource to junior team members (where applicable) by sharing best practices and providing informal guidance when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of demonstrated Product Owner experience in Agile/Scrum (or equivalent), including end-to-end delivery, backlog ownership, and sprint planning in complex environment
- Demonstrated experience serving as Product Owner for an embedded engineering pod (or equivalent), driving prioritization and managing delivery trade-offs
- Demonstrated experience translating business needs and user insights into epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria
- Demonstrated experience partnering across Architecture, Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities
- Proven solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams and provide executive-ready updates
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining delivery focus and accountability
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills, using data and metrics to assess performance and inform decisions
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud data and analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI/Tableau, Adobe Experience Platform)
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale consumer data platforms and data domains (e.g., ingestion, transformation, publishing)
- Experience analyzing and synthesizing data to inform roadmap priorities, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend actions
- Experience using product and delivery tooling (e.g., Aha!, Rally, or similar) to manage work, dependencies, and delivery reporting
- Demonstrated familiarity leveraging AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, reporting, and/or product workflow (e.g., automated insights, anomaly detection, AI-assisted documentation)
