Job Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager – Data & AI at SmithRx, you will lead the product strategy and execution for the core platform capabilities that leverage data, analytics, and machine learning to power automation, intelligence, and faster decision-making across our ecosystem. This includes developing a deep understanding of product and usage analytics to inform data driven decisioning. Supporting solutions that span drug pathways, claims adjudication, real-time notifications, reporting, and personalized recommendations.

You’ll thrive in this role if you're excited about solving complex problems with data and have experience in health-tech, Pharmacy Benefits Management or related domains.

What you will do:

  • Strategy & Roadmap – Define and lead the product vision and roadmap for data and AI-powered features across the platform.
  • Product Development – Work with engineering, data science, and design to deliver new tools and functionality from concept to launch with speed and quality.
  • Business & User Needs – Translate business and user needs into actionable requirements and clearly communicate how data and AI can deliver measurable value.
  • Validate Through Discovery – Conduct discovery, research, and rapid experimentation to validate ideas and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
  • Deliver Measurable Results – Define and track KPIs, using data to iterate and improve products post-launch.
  • Champion the User – Advocate for members, partners, brokers and internal product users from usage and product analysis to inform improvements.
  • Work Cross-Functionally – Align and collaborate across Engineering, UX, Operations, and client-facing teams to drive delivery and impact.

What you will bring to SmithRx:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a focus on data-centric or AI-driven products.
  • Experience in health-tech, pharmacy benefits, or healthcare data environments strongly preferred.
  • Proven success launching products that leverage data science, ML, or advanced reporting and analytics.
  • Strong technical fluency and experience collaborating closely with engineers and data analysts.
  • Experience with complex systems, integrations, and healthcare datasets.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to clearly translate between business and technical audiences.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field.  Advanced degree a plus.
