Job Description: Senior Product Manager, EHS Solutions  

 

Position Overview 

Intelex is a global leader in environmental, health, safety (EHS) and quality management software and serves more than 1,400 customers and three million users. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the development and strategic growth of key product lines within our broad EHS platform. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and Sales to analyze customer needs and product gaps, build compelling solutions, and deliver measurable value for EHS professionals and leading organizations worldwide. You’ll be working alongside a team of ambitious, hard-working, curious people, playing a vital role in determining the outcomes and experiences for Intelex users for years to come. 

You, the ideal candidate, are willing to get your hands dirty in the product itself but have a mind for broader strategy and work to ensure top-to-bottom organizational alignment between your work and Intelex’s vision. Your empathy for the customer is what drives your relentless focus on product performance and functionality.  

 

Organization 

This role reports to the Head of Product Management

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and industry professionals to identify user pain points and improvement opportunities 

  • Prioritize features and solutions using data, customer insights, and scoring frameworks (RICE, etc.)  

  • Translate user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria 

  • Craft the business case for product enhancements to ensure alignment with high-level organizational goals and strategy 

  • Lead cross-functional teams, as well as Product Owners, through the product lifecycle—from discovery to delivery and post-launch optimization 

  • Monitor product performance through KPIs, user feedback, and analytics, and iterate as needed. 

  • Act as the ‘go-to’ within the organization for your products, their capabilities, and their positioning in the market 

  • Interface with Senior Leadership on a regular basis to report on the performance of your product line(s) 

  • Speak about your product line(s) externally as needed at customer on-sites, product webinars, etc.  

  • Establish and maintain an understanding of our competitive environment and market to drive strength and differentiation 

 

Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in EHSQ software 

  • People management experience, ideally having led other product managers/owners or cross-functional squads  

  • Previous experience in the Environmental Health and Safety market is needed, either as a practitioner or as a Product Manager at an EHS software company 

  • Proven success in shipping impactful software solutions at scale, including experience in running Agile/Scrum teams 

  • Strong product documentation skills and familiarity with common tools like Jira etc. 

  • Ability to manage and speak about products both at a technical level and a strategic level, with a focus on articulating the customer value of your product enhancements 

  • Ability to travel ~5% 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and uncertain environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously 

  • Strong communication (verbal/written) and collaboration skills with people at all levels of the organization 

  • Empathy for our end users and the passion to deliver them excellent products
