Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own key product initiatives across DocUpdate. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to engineering and leadership teams, translating business objectives into actionable product requirements while ensuring successful delivery of new features and enhancements.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with a data-driven mindset. They are comfortable leveraging product analytics tools to identify opportunities, prioritize enhancements, and make recommendations that improve user experience, engagement, and platform performance.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces ambiguity, and can independently drive projects from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution
  • Own and execute key initiatives within the DocUpdate product roadmap
  • Take responsibility for DocUpdate mobile application UI/UX to optimize conversion and promote an impression of solidity and legitimacy
  • Translate business objectives and customer needs into detailed product requirements and specifications.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality product enhancements.
  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Drive projects from discovery through launch with minimal oversight.
Product Analytics & Optimization
  • Utilize product analytics platforms (Mixpanel or similar) to monitor user behavior, engagement, and adoption trends.
  • Analyze platform usage data and identify opportunities to improve workflows, user experience, and feature utilization.
  • Make data-informed recommendations regarding new features, enhancements, and UI/UX improvements.
  • Establish metrics and success criteria for new initiatives.
Development & Delivery Management
  • Create detailed product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation for development teams.
  • Manage and prioritize work within Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Partner effectively with both internal and offshore engineering teams to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with leadership, engineering, operations, and commercial stakeholders to align priorities and drive outcomes.
  • Communicate product vision, priorities, and project status clearly across teams.
  • Help establish scalable product management processes as the company continues to grow.
QualificationsRequired
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience within a software or technology-driven organization
  • History of clean sheet mobile application UI development and ongoing refinement
  • Experience owning software development projects from concept through delivery.
  • Strong experience writing product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Experience using Jira or similar product management/project tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to use product data and user behavior insights to drive product decisions.
  • Experience working closely with software engineering teams.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Healthcare technology experience preferred but not required
  • Experience supporting physician-facing or healthcare professional (HCP) products.
  • Experience working with distributed and offshore engineering teams.
  • Startup or high-growth company experience.

The base salary range for this role is $140,000-$160,000

Where you land within the range will reflect your skills, experience, and location, while keeping team parity in mind and leaving room for future growth.
